《 2012, Belgrave University 》

"Why do you have to go?" Alexandra Conner complained to her older sister Julia Conner, who was swinging a bag over her chest, so that the strap was at the moment, not quite diggin' into her chest too much.

"Come on, Alex. It's only three years away for you. Come on." Julia snaps a little bit too sharply, sharper, than she had intended to.

Alexandra's eyes flashed with slight pain at her elder sister's snappish sort of tone but she only nods quicker, as she was now feeling tears prickling at her eyes. But as of right now, she was rather determined to definitely not to show them to her elder sister, or to their parents, knowing exactly what would happen to her if she did.

"It's just not fucking fair. I'm ahead in all of my classes... hell, I'm already all done, all the really important courses, so why can't I come?" She complained and Julia glared at her.

"They will not, they don't and can't at the moment, accept any people under the age of 18." Julia, she was fighting a bit too hard now, to keep her tones of voice even.

"Well, fuck the rules." Alex snapped and it was a bit too loudly, as the two of them, their parents had heard all of it this time.

"Alexandra James Conner, you get into the car! Right this instant, Young Lady!" Their father snapped at her, as her eyes flared up with defiance.

"No." Alex snapped back at him, her eyes blazing with fury now, at the all too clearly stated, unfairness of their situation at hand.

"Get in the fucking car, now!" Her father grabbed onto her wrist and her mother held open the car door with a practiced sigh, as he would almost in every sense of the phrase, throws her into the car.

Her mother slammed the door too quickly behind Alexandra, and she had almost caught her foot in the door and would have done so, if Alex had not seen it coming as she usually did now.

She watched in a cold and furious rage, as Julia was waved off by their parents and in response to Alex's look on her face, Julia flipped up a finger at her and Alex flinched, and, she turned to look in the other direction.

On the way home from Belgrave University, the entire car ride home was silent.

Alexandra, from her horrible behavior earlier this morning at Belgrave University, had earned her punishment for the day. Which was a huge cleanup job and no meals until a full 24 hours had past, from when she had finished the cleanup job.

Alex grabbed the mop, bleach, and many other cleaning supplies and she went to work.

She got down on hands and knees to scrub the floor, as she was looking at all of the oil and other fucking shit for this time in the garage, that was all on the floor.

She quietly sung as she works on the ground, having nothing better to do at the moment, but, she was missing her brother like crazy now.

"Can you hear me, Jake?" She murmured and she looked over to the side and spotted her cellphone. She reached out and grabbed it, typing in a phone number quickly and putting it to her ear.

The familiar voicemail brought tears into her eyes and running down both of her cheeks in waves, as she listened again and again to the voice messages and recordings, of her late brother, as it was.

"Hey, this is Jacob TJ (Terrence James) Conner. If you guys need to talk to me about any sort of situation that you guys are in, I always have the line and door open."

Alex lowered her head as her tears splashed the floor, and she shakes her head as she got back to work, wishing with all her heart, that there was an way to speak to her older brother still.

After she had finally finished the floors of the garage, as promised, the locks were back on the cupboards and the fridge, and this time, even the god damn freezer was locked up tight.

Alex sighed quietly, rubbing her eyes a bit from all of the dust, that were on and covering the locks.

She went upstairs to her room and stopped by instinct and memory, at the doorway to the room that was no longer in use... that had not been in a or any sort of use, for over a year now almost.

She saw her brother's posters on the wall, his home laptop closed as it was and always would be now, collecting dust all over it.

She stifled incoming sobs with her hands clasped over her mouth, as she would stagger even further down, the hallway and into her room, managing to only just get into the room and shut the door, before she had begun to cry, her eyes welling up and over with hot tears.

She bowed her head so that it was resting between her legs, as her hot tears dripped down her face and onto the floor now, further stifling her sobs of uncontrollable pain. Feeling like she was missing a limb, and she was shaky as she got up to her feet.

She walked, or more like stumbled down the hallway in this case, to the bathroom.

She opened the mirror up and riffled around in the cupboard, moving all of the things in front of them around, as the stuff she was looking for now, was at the very back of the cupboards, and it was back there for a reason.

She grabbed for it and missed on the first couple of tries. She jumped up as high as she could, and managed to get the box knocked down and catching it in her hand.

She looked down at the box of razor blades in her hand and squeezed her other hand into a fist, as she looked at the bottle of pills that was in her other hand.

She put the anti-depressants down and pulled out a razor blade, looking at it with very blurry eyes, as she was still crying from before, as, she lowers it toward her wrist, unable to stop it.
