{1} Divided [The Order]

Beta Reborn

A low rumbling sounds had begun to come from under the other the rest of the Knights of Saint Christopher's feet, and Cassie looked at the others.

"She must have done it! She must have reawakened Beta! Alex did it and fast!" Cassie exclaimed, until a high-pitched ringing echoed in all of their heads.

"Guys... what's going to happen with Beta and Alex?" Hamish asked, after a minute or two had past, since the loud ringing had ceased to be heard.

"Oh, shit!" They all raced out of the house after hearing howling from all the way outside of the house, and they all raced into the woods.

They heard a lot of a loud howling sounds, like an entire wolf pack and they ran faster towards the sounds.

They found a normal scene for the pack of werewolves. There was two deer torn apart completely, while the other two bodies were in their minds, unrecognizable, but, were clearly not any sort of animal.

"Two deer and two humans." Cassie muttered and the werewolf looked at them, whimpering slightly as it looked around at the sight of all the blood as it was all of it, literally everywhere.

"It's okay. We all of us, we all had our bad times, at first as well." Cassie said, as she looked over her shoulder and it was one of the quieter member of the society, who passed a bag of clothes to Cassie. "You're not the only one who is killed people." She said, and there was a familiar creaking sound.

"Yeah, I'm guessing that this is somewhat, strangely normal for you guys?" Alex's voice was hoarse as she was covered in the blood, of the deers and the humans.

"Yeah, believe it or not." Hamish confirmed and he crouched next to the humans and chuckles quietly at the corpses. "She ate them." He said as they all looked at him, as he stands up and the Knights made a rather loose circle around Alex, whose eyes were flashing at the sudden movement.

"If you want to become one of us like your brother was. You have, to pledge yourself to the cause." The elder of the Knights said and Alex growled a bit.

"What am I promising?" She asked coldly, her voice turning to icy steel as she spoke and Cassie chuckles an little bit at her words.

"I like her." Cassie said and nods quickly at Alex, who turned her head to look at her, quickly taking the time to be rolling down the sleeves of their borrowed jacket.

"That won't change anything, Cassie I'm guessing, unless I say yes." Alex's statement was only confirmed by the open looks on the faces of the Knights other then the two werewolves now, that were Cassie and Hamish, whose expressions were more closed off for her sake. She turned to the one in the charge of all this. "I need time. Give me a week." She said.

"24 hours." He said.

"5 days." Alex countered.

"2 days." He snapped.

"4 days?" Alex asked, her tone becoming angry now and the guy laughed a bit.

"Done." He said and they shake on it quickly, as Cassie snorted a bit.

"I suppose that there is no chance of you giving me a ride home?" Cassie's voice was apologetic and Alex looked at her over her shoulder, as she takes her keys from Cassie and spins them a bit.

"Tell me everything that you knew about my brother." She said as Cassie nods quickly. "Then, get in. Hamish, you need a ride?" She called and he'd look at Cassie.

"She wants information on her brother, which we can give to her. So take the ride." Cassie said and Hamish chuckled.

"Shotgun." He said and Alex scoffed loudly, as she clicked the doors open and climbed into the driver's seat, as she adjusted seat, side mirrors, and a rearview mirror that was beyond any doubt, a total mess.

"Who fucked up my mirror? I mean, seriously guys?" She asked sharply of them, as Hamish grimaced, raising his hand, and she rolls her eyes. "I'm not mad..." he sighs with relief. "...yet." At those words, he gulps again. "Kidding, dummy." She muttered with a slightly grimace of a smile, and she drives off.

She parked outside of the dorms and the two had been silent the whole god damn time, and not speakin' an single word. "I believe that you guys owe me some information?" She questioned as they both looked at her.

"Well, yeah, about that..." Hamish began and Alex let out a low growl of warning. "Unfortunately, we have to be honest, that all of the information that we have on your brother, is very much confidential. We can't tell you a bit of it. Not until after you've pledged yourself." Hamish said and Alex's face was beyond furious.

"Get out of my truck." She said as her eyes were beginning to feel hot and a whole lot prickly, which always was a huge indicator, of tears. "Get out!" She roared loudly and, slammed her hand into the steering wheel so hard, that it bent under her hand.

Hamish and Cassie got out of the truck in silence, as they watched from feet away, as Alex was curled up now, really tightly inside the driver's seat, and they could hear her crying from where they were standing.

"What did we just do?" Cassie asked and Hamish looked over at Alex, who was looking at them now, eyes glowin' silver.

"I think that we just gave Beta a pretty, simple and good reason to rise the fuck up again." Hamish says really quietly and Alex climbs quickly out of her truck and walked into their dorm room building, and her hands were both shoved deep into her pockets.
