{1} Divided [The Order]

《 2015, Belgrave University 》

It had only been three years since Alexandra Conner had watched as her older sister Julia Conner, had walked a way up the grounds and right into a dorm that would be her own now, just until the day came when she finally a long time coming, she left.

Alex drove her truck up the road and she sighed quietly, as she parks and at once, she saw someone running down the hill toward her.

"Alex!" She groaned quietly to herself now, at the annoyin' and not exactly a welcome sight, of her older sister Julia come racing down the hill, toward the old model, Ford truck.

"Great." She muttered under her breath to herself once again, as Julia knocked on the window, until Alex, at the moment, she who was not, seeing, any other choice in the matter, opens the door and got out.

"I'm so glad that you're here!" Julia squealed and Alex looked at her with the familiar stubborn expression on a face, as she had her hands jammed in her pockets of her inexpensive, fake as shit, black leather jacket.

"Are you really that pissed at me about this, still?" She asked of her, as Alex, she quickly now, flipped up her right middle finger at once, and Julia sighed quietly.

"You left me alone with our parents again, Jules. For three fucking years, this time." Alex said quietly and Julia looked, like she had something to say this time, but Alex had one more blow to land and she wasn't stopping for any sort of break either.

"There was no Jacob to help me this time, either." She says savagely to her and the look on Julia's face, it was like she had been shot.

The blood drained out of her face as the skin of her face went pale, as then she spun around as if to walk away.

"Go ahead!" Alex's voice made Julia stop clean in her tracks, as her hands had begun to shake. "Run away like a coward, like you always do." She said sharply and Julia spun around quickly and punched Alex dead straight in the nose.

Alex staggered back and she lost her balance, trying to regain it before she hit the passenger door of her truck, as she stumbled and failed, catchin' onto her mirror.

She brushed her right thumb across her nose and found blood leaking out of it, and she looked at Julia, who was looking furiously at her now.

"It's only gotten worse for me every single minute, since Jacob... and you were my last hope in this world, of a fucking good family in this world."

At once, Julia flinched again at her words, as Alex grabs her backpack, a duffel bag, and a suitcase, out of the bed of her truck, which was covered by a tarp, as she walks up to her dorm room.

She was met at the door by her RA Cassie, and for shaking hands, she had to do her best not to drop anything, as she shifted her belongings around in order to shake hands with her.

"Alexandra Conner. But, call me Alex would you? If you don't mind doing so that is." Alex spoke up, gripping hands with the girl.

"No problem at all, Alex. My name's Cassie and I'm your RA." Cassie shook hands with her. "Here, I can help you, with all that." She said and Alex shook her head quickly.

"No, it's really all okay..." But Cassie was already taking stuff out of Alex's hands, ignoring her clearly stated, all protests.

"Hey, H, can you come and help me with this new girl? She has a shit-ton of stuff!" Cassie called out loudly, over her left shoulder, and a guy, walks out of the building.

"You're allowed to have guys in the dorms now?" Alex questioned of her RA, and, Cassie laughed loudly at her words now.

"Not usually. But I'm the exception to the rule, as I never stay for any longer then 4 or 5 minutes." The guy said and stuck out his hand, and Cassie plops a shit ton of duffel bags into it. "Hamish Duke." The guy said, sticking out the other hand for her to shake.

"Alex Conner." Alex said warily to him, unsure of whether she should be actually shaking his hand now, but it was a nod from Cassie, that convinced her that the moment was all good.

"Anyways, the RA has to kick me out soon, so let's get this stuff into a dorm room." Hamish said as they all walked up to the dorm room and Cassie opens it without knocking.

"You don't have a roommate yet." She said and Alex shrugged quickly, as her eyes flashed a bit.

"Fine by me." She said and tossed all of her stuff onto the floor next to her bed and Hamish hands her the stuff at once, before walking out of the door.

"Nice to meet you, Alex!" He called over his shoulder and Alex chuckled quietly under her breath, and nods at the retreating guy's back.

"You too!" She called back to him and he saluted, as he disappears quick, out of the front door to the building.

"You hungry? You kind of look a little on the pale side, do you need food?" A concerned, Cassie asked, as Alex looks at her.

"I never say no to free food, if I can help it." Alex spoke up and Cassie was laughing once again, as Alex, followed her RA out of her dorm room, and, the building besides.
