"How did you get so good at mixing drinks?" Alex asked of Hamish quietly as she sat on the couch, her head held in her left hand, as she flips through a photo album that she had found.

"Practice, basically. I never really socialized until I joined the Knights and so, I needed something to learn and it couldn't be anything that was any sort of academic, since I am still in Pre-Law." He said and she looks at him with a laugh.

"I still can't see you in 2 years as a lawyer, in a suit and defending or the opposite, speaking to a judge, against another person." She said truthfully a bit, and he let out a low growl, but she still managed to spot the smiles on his face. "I saw that." She said and he said nothing, but he handed her a drink. "I smell... lime?" She asked, and he looks at her, and she chugged it quickly.

"Yeah, okay, I'm gonna need to make some more." He said and she nodded quickly.

Sienna stuck her head into the room at the mention of lime, and Hamish's grin widened a bit. "Yeah, there is any sort of drink coming. Let's go." He said and she grinned, giving him a thumbs up, before she darted away.

She came back with a bunch of full bottles, that were somehow balanced in her hands, and Hamish laughs a bit as Alex darted up off of the couch and over to help Sienna, taking an few, off of her towering pile.

"Thank you."

"No problem at all." Alex said and Sienna looked gratefully at them both as they put the stuff on the table and a minute later, their resident mixologist he got to work on their drinks.

Alex opened a bottle of whiskey and took it to the couch while Hamish was mixing the other drinks, she began to drink it already.

"Sienna, can you take over?" Hamish asked and Sienna nodded quickly, and she took his place behind the counters and he walked over to Alex, who held out the bottle to him with a question a bit in her eyes. He shook his head and took it from her, putting it on counter.

"Come on, I'm gonna show you something. Sienna, we won't be too long." Hamish pointed out and Sienna saluted quickly, as Alex, she sighs a bit at his words.

"Do I get to have the whiskey bottle back if I follow you?" She asked and he looked at her with a sigh, picking up the bottle and handing it to her, as they both walked downstairs.

Hamish opened the door to the Hide Locker and Alex raised her eyebrows at him, as he motions her through the door.

"Every time a champion of any werewolf dies, their hide returns to the locker." Hamish explained and he looked at the lockers, in front of them, and Alex nods quickly.

"So, they are all back here? Except for Beta, Tundra and Luna?" Alex asks, as she walked down the locker and stops in front of the locker, that she opened, to bond with Beta.

"Yeah. They should all be back by now." He mumbled and sighed quietly at his own words, as he moved over to the hide locker in the middle of the room.

"That's Timber. Cassie's Hide?" Alex murmured and he looked at her with a slight nod.

"You took Latin in high school." It wasn't a question and Alex confirmed it with a simple nod.

"I could easily swear at my parents in multiple languages at that point. They didn't have a clue about it." She said a  bit quietly, as she looks around, at the other lockers.

"Why did you do it?" Hamish finally spoke again, breaking the silence that had lasted, nearly an full five minutes between the two of them.

"Why did I do what, Hamish?" She asked and he looked over at her, and grabbed the bottle of whiskey out of a hand and she snorted at the gulp, that he swallowed.

"You didn't have to pledge yourself to the cause since most of the older pack was already dead, so why?" He asks of her, and she held out her hand for the bottle, which he quickly handed, back to her with a slight grimace.

"Because I wanted to pledge myself for my own sake. I have always, and still will continue to always, want to help people. My parents... they never helped anyone, not even, their trio of kids. Except for Julia. I aspire to walk in a path, like Jacob's. He was the help one, listening to his voicemail... I miss him and I just need to do something to make him proud of me." She said, and tears began to run down her cheeks at the mentioning of her brother.

"Hey." Hamish said and the bottle of whiskey was finally emptied, and she looked up at him, unsure of what the words coming out of his mouth would be. "He was always proud of you." He murmured, and she blinks her eyes at his words, looking confused. "The way he talked about you, it was like, you're his entire world kind of thing. Which is why once I heard from Cassie, that I had met you first, everyone else was a totally jealous mess." He says and she looks at him, wiping her eyes quickly, and nodding slightly.

"Good for them. But I can't just go off of what people remember, about him and his words regarding me. I need to prove it to him myself and only now in my own mind and through my own actions." She said and pushes past him and he looked at her.

"You can stay for the night. You are seriously drunk and should probably stay the night, just in case." Hamish's voice was just about as matter of fact, as it could get, when he was nearly all the way drunk himself at the moment now.

"Yeah, okay, maybe I will. What room?" She asked and he snorted a little bit at her words, as she stuck her head back down the stairs.

"First door on your left, when you go up the stairs." Hamish said and Alex's thumb went up with a thumbs-up and she walked up the stairs again.
