LOUIS' POV

Last night they weren't hungry so Louis was saved from making dinner and in the morning Harry was running late so Louis was once again lucky. But now he had no choice, he had to make dinner today. So there he was standing in a kitchen, feeling lost already. He had no idea what he would make, more like what he can make without burning the entire building.

He took out his phone and searched for the easiest recipe on Google. He scrolled for at least five minutes before settling on a recipe which had chicken with some kind of stuffing and some homemade mash. He thought he could make it. He read it thoroughly, but being Tommo, he decided to take matters into his hands, even though he had never cooked. He took out the chicken from the fridge and cleaned it. Then he decided to grate some cheese, he took out mozzarella cheese and started grating it.

Louis was shocked to see that they actually had all of these things in their home. Being the impatient lad he is, he got bored and decided to shift in cooking mashed potatoes. He took out the potatoes and peeled them, cutting half of the potatoes with the peel. He then put raw chicken in the oven and started it. Just then Harry walked in, 'Hey, oh what a view to see when you enter!', he teased. Louis rolled his eyes and said, 'Hello to you too.' 'What are you making?', Harry asked. 'It's um a surprise.', Louis said, thinking that whatever he makes and how it turns out, he could still lie to Harry about what he was trying. 'Okay, I'm gonna change and come.', Harry said and left.

Louis then searched for the flour jar. He found it on the top shelf, 'Dammit', he muttered to himself when he couldn't reach the shelf. When his fingers barely touched the jar, he knocked it off, spilling flour all over him. Luckily for him, he caught the jar before it touched the floor. The oven rang, signalling the end of baking, he then placed the jar and looked. As he opened the oven, a disgusting smell entered his nostrils. He had burnt the chicken!

As he was about to clean up Harry entered the kitchen. 'What in the world happened?', he asked, seeing Louis covered in the white powder, making his hair white. 'I-I, the flour, chicken.', Louis stuttered, embarrassingly. Harry chuckled and ruffled Lou's hair, dusting some of the flour. 'I literally left you for a minute and you managed to turn the whole place upside down'

'I tried my best okay!', Louis defended, 'It's better than the last time!'

'What happened last time?'

'I was helping mom make god knows what, and I burnt the fucking water! I didn't even know that was possible!', Louis said, crossing his hands and pouting. Harry doubled in laughter, he was not able to understand how someone could burn water.

'Yeah, yeah laugh all you want.', Louis mumbled. 'Okay- okay I'm sorry. How about I help you today?', Harry asked, panting. Louis grinned and nodded eagerly. Harry then took a look at the potatoes, 'What are these?', he asked. 'You don't know? These are called potatoes.', Louis said. 'Yeah I know, but are they customised for you? Cause they are so tiny.'
