They had now decided that it was a good idea to go home and get some rest. It had been a very long night after all.
A lot had happened in the game of truth or dare such as; when Chan asked Seungcheol what his ideal type was, and totally didn't describe Jeonghan, when Seungkwan was dared to sit on Vernon's lap for three turns and lost count and stayed on his lap for the rest of the game, but the best dare of the game, was when Seokmin dared Mingyu to 'date' Wonwoo and then later expanded the dare that the others could tell them how to act when they were together, without going too overboard that is.
Since half of the boys were drunk or tipsy, they changed drivers.
Minghao drove Seungkwan and Wonwoo home since Jeonghan was drunk and was staying at Seungcheol's.
Vernon drove Mingyu and Chan home because Chan couldn't drive yet and Mingyu was passed out drunk.
Jihoon drove him and his boyfriend to his house, because he knew his mum wouldn't mind Soonyoung staying over again, he basically lived there.
And Seokmin asked to stay over at Joshua's because he lived close. Joshua agreed to have the other boy stay over and soon they were walking to Joshua's house in the dimly lit street.
"So.." Seokmin started up a conversation, "tonight was eventful." He commented, recalling all the things they found out about one another.
"Yeah, it was, wasn't it." Joshua agreed, sighing a bit.
"What's up, Shua?" Seokmin asked, concerned. He always knew when Joshua was feeling a bit down or upset.
"It's nothing. I'm fine, Seok. Really." Joshua assured the younger, not wanting to be questioned further. But Seokmin wasn't dumb. He could tell that the older male was upset in some way.
"Come on Josh, I want to help you, you know that and you can talk to me about anything." He said, sounding caring and soothing in a way that Joshua couldn't describe. "I've broken promises in the past but Joshua, I promise you from this day forward, I'll always be here to listen to you, no matter how big or small the problem is." He finally finished his mini-speech and held Joshua's hand.
Joshua looked down at their hands and lightly smiled. He then looked up to look into Seokmin's eye's and frowned a little. "I want someone. Someone who'll treat me like I'm the most precious person in the world. Someone to tell me that it's going to be fine. Someone to comfort me when I'm nervous or scared. Someone to caress my hair and rub my back when I feel sick or sad. Someone to hug me or even kiss me." He stopped walking as they reached Joshua's house. "It sounds so silly now that I say it out loud."
Seokmin could only disagree with that statement. It wasn't dumb that he just wanted love and affection. "That's not silly at all. I too, want someone to love me as well. It's kind of lonely in my life, even though I have so many people around me." He let out a small chuckle and walked up to the door.
Joshua sighed as he pulled out his keys and slowly unlocked the door. None of the lights were on so they made their way to Joshua's room in the dark.
"You can sleep on my bed if you want, I'll sleep on the couch," Joshua said, collecting a few blankets and placing them on the couch in his bedroom.
"No. You sleep on the bed, I'm fine with the couch." Seokmin insisted.
"I don't want you to be uncomfortable though. You're sleeping on the bed." Joshua argued, but Seokmin was going to let Joshua sleep on the bed regardless.
"Anyway, I'm going to get a glass of water, would you like one?" Seokmin asked, not wanting to argue with the elder anymore. He received a nod in return and headed downstairs to get them both a drink.
He had already poured one glass of water and he was going onto the next when he heard an obnoxiously loud, menacing crack of thunder. He looked outside and sure enough, it was raining heavily. The thunder was accompanied by a sudden strike of lightning.
Without thinking too much, Seokmin grabbed the only filled glass and sprinted upstairs, spilling a few drops on the floor.
And because he knows him too well, Seokmin knew that...
Joshua was afraid of storms.
A/N: Oop- kinda plot twist I guess \(^-^)/
