You
Me
And everyone we know
Will die
There's nothing we can do to change that
No matter what we try
None of us will learn what happens
Until it happens
There's no absolute explanation
Despite charismatic individuals
And institutions
Who claim otherwise
All we can do is wait
For our last breath
In this fragment of Time
Our nightly encounters with Death's cousin
Will have to suffice
For it's the closest answer
To the question
