Suddenly I am in a familiar cabin from the camp I used to go to as a child. The room was small and square with 4 windows, 4 bunk beds, and a door connected to a school, my old one. A bell rang that signaled it was time to get ready for the day. Girls were scattered around me packing their bags. There were a lot of familiar faces. I looked down because my clothes felt uncomfortable. Then I realized What I was wearing. An old Rainbow shirt and tights. The outfit was not color coordinated and very unappealing. But for some reason my confidence was sky high. I grabbed a bag on a chair that I assumed was mine and walked over to a few girls that looked my age in a corner. I recognized my friend, who is also my current friend in real life if that makes sense. She had her blonde hair straightened and clumps of mascara on. She was wearing ripped jeans and a crop top too. The group of girls were talking about guys. I overheard my old friend Nicole, whine, "yeah most of the guys here are so boring and ugly" I jumped in the conversation "I guess that sucks" "it does" Nicole continued on. I rolled my eyes while Nicole kept whining on about all the guys in the other group. I was very uninterested. Nicole noticed how unimpressed I was. "Maddie, you should date Rodrick" Nicole smirked "You're funny, you know I don't like douchebags" I hissed. I saw Nicole form an evil grin looking behind me and before I knew it a figure behind me held me close and slid their arms around my waist. It felt real. They were so warm. The person was hugging me from behind, they then rested their head on my shoulder and whispered in my ear "Still don't like me now?"
