Tommy's POV
I was hanging out with Tubbo in the field when I saw a strange message from Wilbur on the group chat.
Wil: "I love you guys"
Now that shouldn't have been so strange but I had a weird feeling that this wasn't a normal 'I love you' but it felt as if it held a different meaning. The chat filled with 'aww,' 'I love you too!' And 'that was random'
I almost forgot I was with Tubbo til he stole my phone from me and started running while laughing.
"Tubbo wait! Please give me it back!!" I shouted as I chased him.
"No way!" He called back at me.
"I need to make sure Wilbur's okay, please!" I yelled without thinking. He froze.
"Why wouldn't he be? Is something wrong?" He asked handing me my phone. That's when I saw a even more worrying message...
Wil: "Goodbye."
Tubbo peaked over my shoulder and tried to read the message.
Eret: "Wilbur??"
BBH: "Wil!?"
Me: "Wil, bro are you good?"
Sapnap: "can y'all actually shut up? You woke me up"
Me: "SAPNAP THIS IS NOT THE TIME!"
Sapnap: "chill man"
BBH: "guys stop fighting and try to contact Wilbur"
Sapnap: "wait why?"
Dream: "what's happening?? Why do you guys seem panicked"
Me: "Wilbur just randomly said I love you then goodbye and won't answer"
Dream: "I'll be back later..."
Me: "I SAY WE ALL JUST SPAM HIM!"
And we all did just that.
Niki's POV
I was sitting in my chair listening to music and such when all of a sudden my phone started blowing up. I let out a little giggle thinking it was Wil since he usually spams me a little when he wants to talk. But I opened my phone to Eret, weird.
Eret: "NIKI???"
Eret: "NIKI WHERE'S WILBUR??"
Eret: "NIKI PLEASE WE NEED YOUR HELP"
Eret: "PLEASE ANSWER"
Eret: "IM SERIOUS NIKI!!!!"
I suddenly became concerned.
Me: "Woah woah woah calm down what's wrong???"
Eret: "Oh thank god you answered! Wilbur was acting weird in a group chat and just said goodbye randomly none of us can contact him will he answer you?"
Me: "I'll try..."
Eret: "okay.. sorry for the spam"
Me: "it's fine no worries keep me updated okay?"
Eret: "okay"
(I don't remember if I did Wil or Dream's POV next-)
Dream's POV
I knew the others would be spamming Wilbur but I was not. Not that I didn't care! Or course I cared and I was going to stop him from doing anything stupid. I went on Snapchat to see he didn't turn off his location. I noticed he was by a bridge. A bridge I was near. Why was I near it? Well I had gone on a trip near him for a little break of social media. I started running in the direction of the bridge hoping I'd get there soon.
Once I did I saw Wilbur standing on the other side of the bridge, shaking and holding onto the railing like a leaf in the wind holding onto its branch. I soon saw his phone, on silent, on top of a table nearby. There were a bunch of letters below it.
I heard him move and quickly looked to him, if I tried to stop him he might get startled and fall...
"Two minutes..." he mumbled weakly as he looked at his wrist.
I looked at my phone to check the time, 11:58. He was going to jump at midnight..
I also saw a ton of messages from my friends in the group chat checking for any news of Wilbur. I put my phone away and looked back at him trying to figure out what to do.
All of a sudden my rushing thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a bell. A bell that rang every hour. A bell that told me it was midnight...
Wilbur's POV
I shakily sat down with my legs dangling off the bridge, it was time. (WHY WOULD HOLD ON START PLAYING DURING THIS-)
My heart was beating fast, I couldn't think straight. I was scared.
'Your friends will hate you for this~'
The voice in my head told me. Why am I stalling.. I've wanted to do this for so long now. I felt myself scoot a little more off the ledge, my heart sped up even more as I felt fear rise in my chest.
I heard someone clear their throat from behind me and I froze.
"H-hello?" I asked not pulling my eyes away from the rushing water underneath me.
"Wilbur..."
'You idiot, how did you let him find you'
"D-Dream..?"
"Wilbur, please get off the ledge."
I shook my head 'no' still staring into the rushing water.
"Wilbur. What will your friends think if I went into the group chat to tell them you just jumped off a bridge in front of me?"
'They wouldn't care'
"They wouldn't care..." I mumbled, repeated the voices.
"How do you know that?" He sounded as though he was trying not to panic.
"They told me..." I whispered.
"Who..?" He asked clearly scared for the answer.
"The voices..." I heard him step closer cautiously.
"So you think that Niki won't care? What about your son, Fundy? Tubbo? Tommy or your dad, Phil? You think they won't care?" I hadn't really thought about that. I felt myself snap back into reality and noticed I was gripping onto the railing so hard my knuckles turned white. If I let go it would be over considering how close I was to the ledge.
"Wilbur?"
"Dream.. h-help.." I started to feel lightheaded but couldn't bring myself to look away from the water.
I heard him walk to the railing, "try to stand up alright?" He spoke in a calming voice. I did as he said and shakily stood up.
Dream's POV
I watched as Wilbur slowly and shakily stood up. Once he did I asked him if he could turn around and I helped him do that. Slowly I got him over the railing back on the right side of it. What I didn't expect was for him to give me a big hug in which I returned.
"Wil.. it's okay.. you're okay." I reassured him. I heard him sniffle and I realized he was crying. I got him to sit down on the bench near his phone and the letters as I hugged him.
Eventually his crying turned to small hiccups and we ended the hug as he went to grab his phone and the letters off the table.
"Holy shit..." he whispered as he turned on his phone.
I looked over his shoulder to see Tommy spamming him still even though the others had stopped as much.
"I'll message the group chat, okay?"
He nodded as he stared at the messages.
Me: "guys?"
Eret: "yes?"
BBH: "?"
Sapnap: "What?"
Me: "Wilbur's okay"
Eret: "he is?? Oh thank god!"
BBH: "did he answer you?"
Tommy: "HE IS??? IVE BEEN SPAMMING HIM SINCE I SAID TO"
Me: "No bad he didn't answer me"
Sapnap: "then how do you know he's okay?"
Me: "he's with me"
Wil: "I'm sorry guys.."
"Wil it's okay." I said to him.
He let a little hum be heard.
BBH: "it's okay you Muffin head you just scared us!"
Tommy: "fjeigoa"
Wil: "Tommy..?"
Me: "Tommy??"
Tommy: "AH GOT IT!! Wil it's okay! -Tubbo"
I heard Wilbur chuckle slightly and smiled.
Wilbur: "Eret?"
Eret: "sorry I was telling Niki that you're alright, it's okay buddy"
Wilbur: "thanks guys"
I cleared my throat, "Wil, I have an extra ticket to the DreamSMP house if you want to come stay there with the rest of us."
"Really?" He spoke, "Id love to.."
"Then that's the plan!"
Me: "Wilbur and I are gonna go, Wil had some last minute packing to get on a plane tomorrow morning~"
Tommy: "wait is Wilbur coming to the SMP??"
Me: "yes he is!"
Tommy: "itjejgj NO WAY!!! -Tubbo"
Wilbur: "I can literally picture them rolling around trying to get Tommy's phone"
BBH: "and I just walked to the fields and that is exactly what is happening-"
Wilbur and I turn our phones off and head to his place to pack his stuff.
