Ellicia’s POV:
I went to Professor Shou’s room and knocked.
“Come in” A voice replied, obviously from the professor.
I opened the door accordingly as found him working on some files on his table.
“Professor.. I’m sorry to disturb you when you are so busy..” I apologized.
There was a slight silence before he could reply.
“Nah.. It’s fine Miss Ellicia, so? What’s the reason of your rare visit?” He asked.
“Ahem.. It would be fine right? That I would be Rin Kagamine’s personal companion, I’ll take care of her.”
“Take care of her? Miss Ellicia, She’s just a robot, you don’t exactly need to treat her like that..They don't have emotions and such, they are just made up of that technology..”
“Well... It would be fine right? I mean..If it’s okay?I don't mind that she is a robot. But please professor.. don't call her just a robot..”
“*sigh* Do what you want.. Just don’t teach her too much about human emotions Miss Ellicia”
“Of course sir”
I left the room and smiled.
I feel happy that I would be the one who would take care of Rin.
I’m really gonna teach her lots and lots of things.

“Rin, I’m back..” I said softly while peeping at the door.
But, I found her asleep, she placed her head at my table, just like every normal girl does. And looks like fast asleep.. But at her condition today as a robot... She’s most likely just recharging.
At first, I thought that Rin would just act like every robot being invented nowadays. But, When I saw her crying.... Something strucked me that she is just like every normal girl.
That time when she cried.. Suddenly I promised that I’d take care of her as a family.
Only thing I know about Rin is that, her being a princess a long long time ago.
The head professor was like keeping a secret from the other members of the lab. I really wonder what is it... The life of Rin...
Rin was still recharging so I left to keep her comfortable.
Even though I knew I had a lot of things to do... Maybe it would be fine to take a little break and tour around the lab.
While walking around. I found a room in the lab left half opened.’
That was the private room never allowed to be opened.
If it really is private.. It wouldn’t hurt just closing it.
But, When I was about to close it. I was able to take a little peep inside.
It was stacked with papers and had a large writing “Reports of Investigation”
I stared at the stack of documents...... Investigation?
