The next morning the couple slept until mid-afternoon where thundering knocks came from the door if the cabin. This startled Severus awake and y/n. She pulled the covers over her as she sat up, turning towards the night stand for her wand. Conjuring clothes for them, she stood. Taking her trek to the door, followed y severus. The door was pulled opened by the door.

Albus.

"Good morning." He greets. She stepped aside letting him enter. "Um... Morning." Y/n scratch the back of her head. "Everything okay?"  She asks him softly. The old man shook his head. "Umbridge has finally taken over...O.W.L's are coming up withing the next month. And she has done nothing but ruin this school year." He grumbled. No one has seen Dumbledore this pissed since lily died. "I need you both to teach Potions, I honestly don't have a thing against your relationship, but Umbridge might. So be careful." With that said, the old wizard left them. They packed quickly and left for the castle as well.

Time skip!
Day of the O.W.Ls
(Four months later because I'm bored)

Once they got back you and Severus set to work, fixing up the classroom to actually teach them something. They had to do it certain groups per-week. Some times it would be two groups. But to today was the day of the O.W.L's. yiu sat in you Chambers with your back towards the door as you looked over the balcony, Severus purchased a birdbath for it since in his words. 'Why is this room dull...you know what, I'm getting you a birdbath.' 

"She's going to ruin them.." Severus growled as he entered the room, pulling off his cloak as you turned to him. "I heard something about the twins going to bomb it. They should start here soon." You commented, feeling the large arms of your love snake around your waist. Within the past four months you've slept together at least once a week. "Mmh.." he hummed, nuzzling his hooked nose into your shoulder. "Oop..there they go!" You watched Fred and his brother shoot into the castle on broom sticks.

The next thing to happen was an up roar of children on to the grounds. Cheering. You turned to your lover and pressed your face into his chest. "I love you." Over five months Umbridge had placed so many rules involving the students, staff and visitors that you and Severus couldn't sit at the grand table, you couldn't see eachother in the halls. You or him either snuck out to your or his Chambers. But now here you both stood in the balcony, students yelling out in cheers at Umbridge ran down the long bridge towards the black lake. "I love you too." He watched over your shoulder as Dumbledore yelled out in anger.

You lifted your head and turned to catch Dumbledore's eyes staring up at you both with a soft knowing smile. You knew once that fire chaser wore out every student would be in trouble. Severus rubbed soft circles into your lower back. It popping in response. "This will soon be over love." Severus said lifting you up and bring you to your bed. He wouldn't bed you to night. Not now. Your were mental and physical tried and ready to give up. So once your head hit the silk covered pillows you were out like a light. Severus watched the door. Not wanting Umbridge to come in unannounced and angered at you for no exact reason.

The next morning Umbridge stormed in. Her hair messy and her pink clothing dirty. "PROFESSOR SNAPE!" she roared. Your dark form by his chair looked up at her with annoyed somber eyes. "What do you want?" He growled glaring at her softly. "Where's the Mutt" She growled. "Well Professor she is right next to me. Even a blind person could see her." You stood and walked around to the side of the table which she stood. You growled and watched the double doors open and ministry workers enter Along with Dumbledore. "Y/n! Back down." Your ears flattened to your head as your tail lowered and you backed away.

Severus tapped your hind end and you transformed. "She's going under trial." He whispered grabbing your hand. The minister was there and he came up to you two. "She told me about the relationship you two held. I don't exactly agree with it...but it doesn't affect your jobs, so keep it that way....on other hands, Miss. L/n? I apologise for what ever has happened to you during this year between you and Dolores.." he stated, smiling at the two of you with uncertainty. Dumbledore stood at his spot and called attention. "Students...with coming days as we were in able to hold out winter ball, it will be held Friday. Classes are cancelled untill further notice." He announced. You looked at severus and dipped your head. "Be my date to the dance?" You asked quietly. "Only if you will be mine." He half muttered, half mumbled to you. "Of course."

"Then I wouldn't miss it for the world." He stated, giving you a soft, very soft smile.
