"now then. If anyone here has knowledge of Mr. Potters movements this evening....I invite them to step forward now." Snape said inviting anyone to step forward. A dark shadows stepped from the ranks of Gryffindor. "I think i can help you out with that." Said Potter bravely as he took a step forward into the light. "It would seem that, despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you have a big of a security problem, head master." Severus from your view was clearly stunned as the order stepped through the doors. The students moving to the sides to look at the order. Remus nodding at you.

"And I'm afraid it's rather extensive." The carrows moved towards Harry before they progressed they turned to Snape. "How dare you stand where he stood!" He yelled rasing his wand at Severus. "Tell them how it was that night. Tell them how you look him in the eye, a man who trusted you...and killed him. Tell them!" You noticed how severus locked eyes with Harry. How McGonagall no longer looked like an adventure ghost, how Flitwick's hand reached for his wand. Severus reached forth and grabbed his wand this is when you and McGonagall stepped in. You shoved them both a side.

You shot a mass of fire from your wand and Snape parties the spell, just barely and sends it around the room. This goes in for a while. You mouthing. 'im sorry, go, get away and what ever you do don't go to Voldemort if he calls you, please.' the other teachers and staff joined in with you. Severus knocked the other death eaters out before he Apparited.

"Coward!" Yelled McGonagall before turning to Harry. "Me. Potter, do you mind telling me what you're doing here, which, I trust you relize, is an act of complete and utter lunacy?" Harry smiled a bit. "I'm a Gryffindor."

"I thought it might have something to do with that." She said turning to the room. Settling down everyone. She had filch take them to the dungeon after Voldemort spoke to everyone. You glanced at Harry with an apologetic smile. "I love him and there's nothing you can do." He nodded, his feelings showed through his eyes. He looked betrayed as you disappeared in a cloud of smoke like severus. You mind went to the cabin you owned in the forest so you went there first.

Looking around in side your worry increased. "Sev!? Severus!" You called. He came out from the bedroom and you ran up to him. "He called for you didn't he?" You asked. He nodded. "I'll go." "No!"

"Severus Tobias Snape! You will let me do because he won't be expecting me!" Severus sighed and kissed your forehead. "I've already lost someone to him and I'm not losing another." He said. "Then we'll both go." You concluded. He wrapped his arms around you. "Just please promise me whatever happens you'll move on and not become a me.." you nodded resting your forehead on his. You kissed him. "Marry me" he mumbled, humming at the end. "I will." He took you hand in his and Apparited to the boat house. 

"Ah... severus.." Voldemort stood before the both of you and you showed nothing but fear. "And who is this?" He asked. Nigani hissed. "My Lord, this us y/n l/n..she wants to join us." Severus stated. "That's unimportant right now severus." Voldemort and severus took many moments to discuss the owner of the elder wand. You were watching closely. "So she witnessed the attack on Dumbledore?" Voldemort growled Turing to you. Kicking you back with stupify. You hit the coloured glass pain behind you, sinking down onto the floor.

Severus made no movement towards you. "Nigani...kill." the snake attacked you multiple times before appariting with Voldemort. Severus quickly rushes over. "Y/n...?" He whispered. Harry barged in.  "Is she okay?" He asked. "That's what I'm trying to figure out now shut up!"

"Sev...take, an easy on him." You coughed. "You developed a counter cure for snake bites use it." You smiled over at Harry who joined severus' side. "It's very true Harry, you...have your mother's eyes." He smiled softly. Severus lifted his wand gently lying it on the major bite marks. "Praeteritis" he whispered sorrowfully. "Harry...there's something I need to tell you." You said, using your strength to reach you and cup the boy's face. "Voldemort made you and accidental horcrux...he needs to be the one to kill you."

Your hand fell and your eyes closed. "Y-y/n?" You smirked softly. "I'm just tired love..you did it..you saved me." Severus smiled sadly lifting you into his arms. "Go Potter. I have y/n." He held you tightly. As they all went back to the castle. Severus catching glanced from everyone. No you weren't dead. You were breath softly, but knocked out from pain. "Coward." Someone spat at Severus and furrowed his brows kneeling next to you. "Is she?" Asked another person. Arthur Weasley. "No.. She's just out."

"Harry told us what Happened. So you were really never a part of his side were you?" Severus shook his head. "No..she kept me from going back completely...." Severus was now a broken man, his litter shell gone. You opened your eyes and sat up hugging the man by your side that in his knees. "Sev." You tightened your grip. "It's okay." The on Lookers saw that you both were broken, in love, best friends. That severus was never the bad guy, the terrible headmaster, the terrible teacher. He was just as good as they were.

Harry was gone, you stood and reached into your pocket for your wand. "We have to defend the castle!" You said getting up. "Woah...woah! Slow down!" Severus stood grabbing you. "No sev."
