Lullaby

Adam pov

We finished up our videos for today and I wanted to take Justin out because he had the nightmare again.. and he seems to be distracted lately..

"So wanna go out?" I asked as I saw Justin taking off his paper cosplay
"Sure.. where are we going?" He asked
"Anywhere" I said
"Haha alight!! To the McDonald's!!" He said and we both laughed and started packing up

"It's not too crowed here haha" Justin said as he looked around "yeah.. I guess" I said as I went towards a vacant table "I'll go order!" Justin said as he went over to the counter and I sat in the table

I looked around the place.. examining everyone here.. as Justin said there aren't many people here..

My eyes landed on a little kid..
With his dad..

Honestly.. my childhood wasn't great..

My dad.. he was a good man..
Or maybe he wasn't? I still don't know..

He was my hero! He always playes video games with me!!
We watch alot of movies!! And even play in the park together!

My dad was good at everything..

The one thing he always does is that he always sings lullaby for me when I can't sleep..
It makes me feel calm and less stressed..

But.. he started to do bad things..

Hang out with girls..
Smoke..
Drink..

Yeah.. my house was filled with cigar smoke and broken bottles of wine..

We stopped playing videogames.. stopped going to the park.. stopped watching movies..

But he always sung his lullaby for me..

But everything doesn't last forever..
Mom got to know about all of this and they divorced..

Dad never came back..

He left his videogames in the house... He left his toys in the house.. he left his flute too...

But he never came back for them..

My dad was bad.. he was a bad influence..

But I can never forget his calming lullabies..

"Earth to my best friend" justin said as he shook his hand infront of me
"Oh you are back" I said as I started to focus on my phone
"Bro that family is gonna think you are a kidnapper if you stare holes at em" he said as he laughed
"I wasn't staring.. I was think about something.." I said
"Oh.." Justin said as if he understood what I was thinking immediately and he handed me a burger
"There are pickles?" I asked as I opened the burger
"Yep! Don't you like em?" He asked
"Yeah I do but I don't know about it being inside a burger" I said as I took a bite
"Chill bro.. well anyways where are we going after this?" Justin asked
"I brought ya here because you seem to have things in mind.." I said as I ate my burger
"You seem the same too.." he said as he laughed
And I turned my head away from him..
"Haha I'm kidding! Well ill take you to a good place" he said as he speed ate his whole burger
"Sure" I said and then we started to finish up

"Here we are!" I opened the car door to see where we are..

The park?

"And you said you wanted me to take my mind off of something" I said as I hit justin and he laughed
"I came here for icecream! You want one?" He asked
"Yep alright" I said as I looked around..

We made alot of memories here..

"Here you go" Justin said as he handed me an yellow Icecream cone
"Why mango?" I asked as I ate it.. it was surprisingly good..
"Because giraffes are yellow!" He said and I hit him again while he was laughing hard
"It is good tho.. wanna try?" I asked as I gave him my icecream
Justin looked at it for a while and then decided to eat it.. but he ended up eating alot
"Haha this is why you should never offer me Adam!!" He said as he laughed and I hit justin again in a playful way

"Well.. your dad is a good man.." Justin spoke out randomly
"Huh? The heck that was random" I said as I laughed
"I just wanted to tell you that.. I believe he changed.. so you don't have to worry about him anymore.." Justin said as he smiled
"Well.. maybe.." I said

"Same goes to you.. your parents were good.. they must be really proud of what your doing now" I said and Justin looked at me with a shocked expression
"Who knows.. maybe the reincarnated into amazing people again!" I said and Justin laughed at me
"You watch too much movies Adam" justin said and we both laughed

"Well... I may not know your dad's lullaby.. but I hope this calmed ya down" Justin said as he smiled
"Haha surprisingly it did! Thanks Justin" I said as I stood up from the bench "let's go home!" I said and Justin nodded and followed me

We then left home..
