N/A:

I know, I know.

Almost 20 chapters in, and not a single mention of the plot you were hoping to read.

Just continue onnn :D

Sorry about that honeys, I needed to build plot first.

I'm almost satisfied, but please look forward to next 10 chapters; that's when you will find more of our dear little protagonist ;)

When I mean by that, I mean that it won't be the same thing over, and over again.

Please be patient with me :)

I'm frustrated as well lol

<Third Perspective, Neo>

Down by the ocean...~

Lives a big melon~

Pluck it green, and red, you'll get some refreshing melon~

The old man sung; letting his aged voice carry the wheels of the cart along the harsh, bumpy road.

Neo held his mother's hands tighter, intimidated by the unfamiliar hustle of Yu Shui.

With winter coming along, white sugar snow blanketed the tiled roofs of stores; the golden sun glittered the scenery with it's light, while the sky pocketed a greyish-white.

You couldn't see how far it stretched; the river of marron roofs flowed down the horizon, to who knows where. Frankly all you could fit into your view were the countless, and limitless array of small buildings that planted themselves even in the most inconvenient of places.

In terms of inconvenient, it meant that there were stalls opening on the Stone Lines; a tangled web of limestone, ranging from as short as 200 metres, to over 10 kilometres long, and for a good thing too. Due to it's wide reach on the terrain in Yu Shui, the Stone Lines were used as a main source of transportation, and like you'd think, it saves a lot of time.

But don't let the name fool you; even though it seems like a mess, the government had uniformly assembled architects, designing accordingly. Hence, only naturally,  it's visuals were just as pleasant as it's use.

"Wow... Isn't it pretty Neo?" Elizabeth asked, breathless from the scenery.

"Mhm... Neo thinks it's pretty too..."

Although he had responded that, Neo hadn't even glanced the large, golden pavilions a glimpse; he was too busy looking at his mom, who seemed ten times much more charming than those measly things.

When grandma had gotten sick, mom had deposited all the savings from years ago, and managed to get a doctor (who doesn't even deserve to be called a doctor)  to look at grandma.

Mom probably got impulsive, so she started selling her clothes; she didn't sell mine, but the kids at school started making fun of mom.

. . . I stayed quiet because I was scared...

... Mommy had always said that it's good to get revenge served cold...

. . .

That was what she always said when people stepped on her.

. . . So, I know what mama was thinking when those kids made fun of her. . .

. . . And I don't hate her . . .
