The crew dispersed to complete tasks, leaving Pink and Red at the table. After the coast was clear, Red spoke. "...And that's how it's done, Pink. I'm looking forward to your first kill, kid. It's a real thrill. Have you selected a target?" Pink thought for a second. "Yes. Cyan has to go. She-" Red interrupted. "Don't you think there's a better solution, Pink? If you kill Cyan because she accused you, that puts you in a bad place. What you should do is get rid of Yellow or Green, since they suspect it's all three of you. An impostor wouldn't turn on her own kind. That makes you seem safe. Heck, if you wait until tomorrow, we could get a double kill with both of them."
"No." Pink retaliated. Red was surprised. "Why not, Pink?" "Because," Pink stated, "Green is mine. Do not touch him." Red sighed. "Kid. I told you not to get attached, it just makes your job harder." Pink's only reply was a low, inhuman growl. "Pink - you know what? It's fine. as long as there's only two of them and two of us, we'll have done enough to complete the job. We can spare him if you're going to put up a fight about it.
"Good," Pink replied. "It's a deal. Don't touch him." "That's good enough for me. I'm off to fake some tasks. You should, too. Be seen when you aren't not killing people." Red slinked away and down the east hall. Pink opened her tablet, trying to decide where to go. A prompt appeared on the screen. "FIX LIGHTS." Red must have sabotaged lights again. It was very dark, easier to kill without being seen. Pink wouldn't know, though. The impostors' eyes worked fine in low light levels.
Pink went through the west hall, searching for Yellow. Luckily, she found her quickly, standing in Medbay. "Oh... hi, Pink. We should turn the lights on, right?" Pink gave her an empty stare through her helmet. "Uh, Pink?" The Medbay door closed, locking them in. "What's going on?" Pink took off her helmet, revealing a human-like face with long pink hair. "Sorry, Yellow. It's my job." Those were the last words Yellow heard, as her world faded to black.
Pink made quick work of the human, shifting to a more capable form. Yellow's top half was now gone, as far as the crew would know. Pink's hunger was quenched. As the full impostor let out a sigh, she shifted again and hid in the vent. Her first kill was accomplished. Pink checked her tablet and waited for "FIX LIGHTS" to leave the screen. When the prompt had left, she crawled through the vents to Electrical, waiting a second for anyone there to leave.
Pink crawled out of the vent, shifting back to her human form. Now that she was sure there was no one there, she left Electrical and went to the Cafeteria. She sat at a table and waited for someone to find the body. She took out her tablet, wondering what time it was. There wasn't much time left before the crew would need to sleep. By the next morning both Pink and Red would be ready to kill again, another step closer to completing the mission.
Red walked into the cafeteria, and sat down near Pink after noticing her. "It's done," she said. "Good," He replied. That's when Green walked into the Cafeteria. "What's done?" Pink froze, reaching for something to say - anything. "Huh? Oh, just my tasks for the day." "Oh! Mine are done too. How about you, Red?" Red nodded. "Cool! Just in time, too, because lights out is in about an hour," Green said. "Good," Red said, "It's been quite a day." As if to make the day a little more hectic, a blaring alarm rang out once again.
