"Our own captain..." White said. "Hopefully we were right. Hopefully, we're safe now." Purple checked her tablet for the time. "Looks like we should head down to bed now." Cyan nodded and walked over to a large hatch in the Cafeteria floor. Turning a discrete handle, Cyan opened the hatch to reveal a ladder. "Come on, guys, bedtime." She went down the ladder first, and the remainder of the crew followed close behind.
At the bottom of the ladder was a small space with five bunk-beds, and a door at the end labeled "Bathroom." White, who came in last, closed the hatch behind himself. "Helmets can come off now," he said, "finally." The crew took off their helmets and began claiming bunks. Purple and Black, took the top and bottom bunk of the bed closest to the bathroom since they had mini crewmates to take care of. Cyan and White each took a bunk on the bed next to Purple and Black's, leaving Red, Green, and Pink standing. Green turned to Pink. "Pink, I get that you've known Red longer, but can you bunk with me? I'm still freaked out by this whole thing." Pink nodded. "Of course Green. I'll protect you." Green giggled. "Thanks."
Red sat down on the bunk closest to him, not particularly caring about sleeping arrangements. Each crewmate prepared for bed, taking turns using the bathroom to take off their clunky spacesuits and change into their sleepwear. The crew chatted with less enthusiasm than when they felt safe on the dropship. There was some uneasy tension in the air. Green yawned and got into his bunk. "Goodnight everybody." Cyan turned out the lights, and everyone went to bed.

The next morning was slow and somber. The crew had an alarm to wake them in time for the daily tasks, but each human took a while to get ready to begin the workday. The atmosphere was not encouraging. The cremates were still afraid they ejected an innocent man. Not only would Orange's life have been wasted, but the killer would still be on board, ready to strike. The crew went up to the Cafeteria one by one, grabbing breakfast and bringing it back into the bunk room. After each of them had eaten, they set out to do tasks.
Red and Pink were the only ones left in the bunk room. "Pink. My hunger has returned. Remember what I was saying about a double kill?" Pink stepped forward. "Not Green." "No, not Green. I remember what you said. Our targets are Black and Purple. They're always together, and they make frequent visits to Security. It would be an easy kill. There are vents in there and everything. Pink agreed, nodding.
The two impostors left the bunk room and went up to Cafeteria. They headed to Electrical and crawled through the vent to security, and quickly closed the door. Black turned around, a mini purple in his arms. "What the-" "Die," Red growled. Pink walked closer to Purple. The impostors were ready. They were about to enact the double kill.
Pink ended Purple's life quickly, feeling her hunger leave her. She vented as fast as possible, not wanting to be found on the scene. All that would be left on her half of the crime scene was half a body and a traumatized mini purple. Red, on the other hand, took longer to complete his kill. He was bold and less flighty than Pink. He enjoyed Black's anguish and took his time. But unluckily for Red, the doors opened too soon.
On the other side of the door stood White, who, as the door opened, saw Red standing over two bodies. Pink was glad she had gotten through the vent in time. Shocked, but with a clear enough mind to work fast, he pulled out his tablet and hit a button labeled "REPORT", and that blaring alarm played once again, for the third time in two days.
