29 - Baby Peter (4)

Third PoV:

It was now day six of the week, meaning Peter had one more day until he was reverted back to normal. The team decided to baby him as much as they could for the remaining time the boy was stuck as an infant. It mainly consisted of: nap times, dressing him in cute clothing, plenty of snuggles, holding him all the time, fussing over the smallest bruises on him and being overprotective.

Peter had pretty much given up trying to stop them, even Morgan joined in! She loved having someone finally be younger than her and having some to play with all the time. She had taken to the big sister role greatly and adored him as a a baby.

Pepper and Tony loved being parents to a baby again and the rest of the team enjoyed being aunts and uncles to a younger Peter. Peter had to admit, it was nice having an entire family look after you - seeing as he'd grown up without a proper one.

Tony tracked down the remaining HYDRA agents from the specific base that attacked the tower and along with Steve and Nat, he slaughtered them.

The door to peters bedroom opened and in walked Thor and Loki, who'd come back for the finale day. They both smiled at the sight of the still sleeping one year old and Loki lifted him carefully out of the cot, making sure not to wake him.

"He's very tiny isn't he brother?" The black haired man said.

"Yes Man of Spiders is certainly very small for the time being," the blond haired god replied.

The two gods padded down the long hallway into the kitchen to meet the rest of the team. They were all still in their pyjamas as it was only 7:43am. Tony as usual was downing an entire pot of coffee, Steve and Pepper were cooking, Morgan was being entertained by Sam, Scott and Bucky, Rhodey and Bruce were talking about random science things and Nat, Wanda and Clint were gossiping about something.

"Morning everyone!" Thor boomed, which caused Peter to stir but Loki rocked the small infant until he fell back into a deep slumber.

Loki glared at his older brother and jerked his head towards Peter in his arms at Thor's confused look. Thors mouth made an 'o' shape before he nodded and looked slightly sheepish.

"Good morning Thor, morning Loki," Bruce said for everyone.

Loki only nodded at the man before smiling softly at the baby in his arms, a red and blue dummy still firmly in his mouth as he clutched the gods long hair in one tiny fist.

"Pass man of spiders here brother, I'm yet to hold him," Thor said.

Everyone looked very hesitant about the idea, Thor was a very strong and large man and didn't quite realise his own strength sometimes. They didn't want him to accidentally hurt Peter. Loki had some faith in his brother and reluctantly handed Peter over.

Thor took the boy from the green eyed males arms, uncharacteristically gently and held him with one arm. Peter was practically the size of his hand, making him look ridiculously tiny in the gods arms. Thor's arms were much larger than Steve's so it looked even crazier. With his other hand, Thor pulled out a chair at the table and sat down, Peter still tucked safely in his arm.

"Christ, he looks so small!" Rhodey said.

Murmurs of agreement filled the room as the women cooed at the scene. Multiple pictures were taken which would later be used as blackmail against the poor boy.

When Peter did eventually wake up he was freaked out a little, not knowing where he was and who was holding him. It didn't help the person holding him was very very muscular and he felt rather vulnerable against the broad chest but when he realised it was only Thor, he calmed down.

He was fed by Pepper and then dressed by Nat. He was set on the floor next to Morgan and they played for nearly three hours before they grew bored. Pepper, Nat and Wanda decided to have a girls day with Morgan and allow Tony and the others to have a boys day with Peter.

When they left, it turned out to only be Tony and Peter as all the others had things to do as well. Scott and Clint went back to their families, Thor and Loki had business on earth to attend to, Sam, Bucky and Steve all went out to train, Bruce went to his lab, and Rhodey went off and did whatever Rhodey did.

"Well looks like it's just us kiddo," Tony grinned at the baby on his lap.

Peter nodded and let the older man lift him into the air and set him on his hip before trudging down to lab for a few hours. As usual, Tony removed any sharp or dangerous things out of Peters reach and set him on the table in front of him. They worked on peters and his suit this time and surprisingly made a lot of progress, even with Peter being a baby.

When they were finished they went back up to the main floor and ate some food. They watched a few movies, mainly Star Wars for a bit and then started talking about previous missions, well for Peter it was more of an incoherent babble but somehow Tony understood it all.

When everyone returned home, they found Peter curled up on Tony's chest as the latter slept peacefully too.

They all aww'd at the scene before once again taking plenty of pictures. They decided to let the pair of genius' sleep while they watched a movie themselves. In the last twenty minutes, Peter woke up and was taken into Buckys arms so he didn't disrupt Tony's sleep. They put on a Disney film for the two kids while many of them went off to either train some more or work. Only Bucky and Steve stayed behind to watch the two children.

When Tony woke up, he panicked for a second before noticing Peter in Buckys arms. He scooped the baby up before kissing him on the forehead and sitting on the floor to play with him and his daughter. Bucky joined in and was somehow roped into sticking magnets on his metal arm. He'd be lying if he said he didn't like it.

As of now, Tony and Pepper were laying in bed with Peter in the middle of them, who was fighting off sleep. Pepper was reading a book and Tony was scrolling through his phone. When the couple noticed peter furiously rubbing his eyes, their gazes softened and Tony pulled the baby on top of him again.

"Go to sleep underoos, the affect won't wear off until roughly 10am tomorrow so you'll still be a baby when you wake up. You don't have to worry about embarrassing yourself by laying in between us or on my chest as a teen." Tony laughed at the thought.

Peter complied very quickly but not before mumbling something to the pair.

"N'ght mama, n'ght dada."

Both their eyes widened and the faces broke out into big grins. They made sure FRIDAY had recorded the moment, before kissing each other goodnight and turning off the lights to sleep.

And they never let Peter forget what he'd muttered tiredly to them for the rest of his life.
