The next morning, Serpensi had no sympathy for the sleeping Morfin she simply let the baby Basilisk slap him round the face a few times with its tail. With this being unsuccessful, she decided to cast the 'Aguamenti' charm over his head so he was hit with a large gush of water. This to the delight of Serpensi managed to wake him up first time. Having woken up a full two hours before him, she was ready to go. She was able to avoid a row with him and reassured him he could have breakfast once she was on the train. Only a short walk later they slipped through the barrier onto Platform 9¾, she was definitely sure her father had a hand in making it. Looking around at the genius of it, she felt proud of him.
Serpensi's small moment of bliss was shattered as she heard the vomit soaked voice of Pansy Parkinson coming from behind her. However, she raised an eyebrow as it was not directed at either herself or Draco. Spinning round very quickly as she didn't want to miss what was going on, and wanting to see who her unfortunate target for conversation was, her jaw dropped. She had turned round to see a scene that she could have only dreamt of seeing, only if to use it against Pansy in the future. She saw both Pansy and her mother, who she now knew was the woman who had come out of Morfin's room only two mornings before. They were both very rapidly applying lipstick and puckering their lips. They were almost fighting with each other to reach him first.
Seeing Serpensi, Pansy looks scornfully at her and said in a very childish manner "Oh well, look what the Welsh Green dragged in, they let you back for another year did they?" Serpensi replied with an equivalent tone of voice "I'm surprised you would want to show up after taking a swim in the common room fountain!?" Rolling her eyes and looking the Hogwarts Express "God this place has gone to the worms, sucking all of the class and anything good out of it, you can tell as they let people like you in. Bet you begged the hat to even let you into Slytherin" Having a very right mind to tell her everything she didn't know, she managed to restrain herself.
Looking again at Morfin, Pansy fixed her hair and began to move towards him again. As she began to go she looked Serpensi right in the eye, gave her a false smile and said "Honestly, I'm shocked snakey that you're not already kissing the mans shoes, doubt he'd let you though if he saw you." Not standing for this Serpensi decided to follow Pansy over to Morfin. They both saw Pansy's mother pulling at his jacket and sleeves "Jude please tell me what I did wrong? Please, I must see you again. It only took me that one night and morning to realise you're the man I need in my life. You complete me Jude. I LOVE YOU!!" Morfin stood there as unimpressed as if he was in the queue for some toilets. Pansy made her move next as Morfin managed to throw the woman off his arm "Mr Jude Sir, I can tell by your stunning good looks and stylish clothes that you go for much younger, more subtle woman." Pansy did not seem to care about comforting her mother who was now bent over on the Platform floor balling her eyes out, making a very public scene. It was only when the other women stopped waving and blowing kisses at him, when Morfin reacted. He both began to laugh and shake off the girl and attempted to make a swift exit, as Serpensi saw he did not like to be seen as 'taken' Pansy tried to pursue him further as Serpensi saw a love potion be produced form the girls pocket. This was when she decided to make her own move. She said in a very audible voice, making sure Pansy heard "Um, Uncle Morfin. Do you have my bags? I'm ready to get on the train and I need to give my bags to the conductor." Catching on, Morfin replied in the same tone of voice "Yes, dear. They're right here."
Turning to see Pansy's face going as red as the Gryffindors crest and her jaw drop faster than a bludger, she smirked and flicked her hair then walked onto the train very pleased with herself.
Walking down the corridor to find the rest of the Slytherins with Winsky on her shoulder. She spotted the platinum hair of Draco Malfoy sitting by himself on one side of the table and the superior looking face of Blaise Zabini, sitting strangely close to Gregory Goyle, on the other side. She sat down next to Draco and acknowledges them with a quick "Morning." She quickly starts reading her book. In her peripheral vision, she saw the eyes of Draco Malfoy light up and his lips form a smirk. A few minutes later, Pansy Parkinson walked in still red in the face not saying word and sat at the table adjacent from them, cross from Vincent Crabbe.
The clock struck 11, the whistle of the train was heard but what was heard even louder was the woman from The Leaky Cauldron yelling "RON! RON! Don't lose him." They relaxed again, and off they were for another year at Hogwarts.
