in which he's an actor and she's a dancer. he needs to find his way and she needs to hurry. when he waits for her and his cast mates insist on meeting her, the start of an unlikely friendship begins.
i have no idea how this ends! alysen is my best...
i met up with the cast at the airport two weeks later. the two weeks i had to myself was very emotional, seeing as i told some family and my dance what i was doing. after i told my dance coach that i was going to film a show, she immediately scheduled a two hour class so the team could say goodbye.
i said goodbye to kieanna first, seeing as i was least close to her.
i said goodbye to maddy second. she made a witty comment like she does multiple times every time we have a class.
i said goodbye to alison next. we bonded over harry styles.
i said goodbye to jhadan, we laughed about among us and tiktoks.
next was tia. i became very emotional as i said goodbye to her. i've known her since i was 9 and in the past year we've grown super close. we always tag each other in tiktoks and obsess over all harry potter characters and tom felton. we both bonded over one direction as well a little bit.
second last was brayden. the guy i've had a crush on since the previous september. we took many selfies and made many tiktoks and have many inside jokes.
last was addison. my best friend. we met when i was 9. she helped me make new friends and get used to being on the competition team. she was my second friend at dance. we never argued which was funny. our friendship was still as strong as ever though.
i said goodbye to the coach and gave her a hug.
i had to say goodbye to lorelei and my friend rachel (who used to dance) over facetime.
i quickly posted a picture to instagram.

"you ready?" rian asked as we boarded the plane.
"no." i chuckled.
"have you ever been on an airplane before?"
"nope!" i responded, popping the p. he laughed and grabbed my free hand, pulling me along to our seats.
"you can have the window seat." he said.
"yes!" i exclaimed.
"sophie and malia are in front of us, so if you get tired of me you can always talk to them" rian joked. i rolled my eyes and laughed.
"it's impossible to get tired of you, rian."
i pressed the home button on my phone so i could look at my lock screen. it was multiple pictures of my dance team from the first 3 months of the season

there were 5 pictures. the main one was of maddy, me, tia, and brayden. above that one was a picture of me and lorelei and another picture of me, jhadan, and brayden doing a timer photo. below the main photo, there were also two photos. one of brayden and i and another of the coach and the whole team minus alison. i sighed as i studied each photo before looking away.
rian put his hand on my leg, making me look at him.
"are you okay?" he whispered. i nodded.
"yeah. dance has always been a huge part of my life and i've only been taking classes for a few years but it feels weird knowing i won't be spending hours in the studio. knowing that i won't be traveling hours to get to a competition or downloading more than 40 games for the younger girls. it's weird knowing that i won't be stumbling the morning after strength and conditioning because we stretched and worked out so much. it's just odd." i ranted.
"it's gonna be okay. you'll always have dance in your life. i don't know what else to say but i'll always be here for you if you wanna talk." he said, looking at me with soft eyes. i smile at him.
"wanna watch a movie?" he asked.
"sure." i smiled. he put on toy story and i rested my head on his shoulder as we watched it.
halfway through the movie, my eyes grew heavy and i fell asleep with my head still on his shoulder.
*no ones pov*
as rian grew tired, he looked down at alysen. her eyes were closed and her breathing was slow. she was sleeping peacefully with an innocent look on her face.
he tried to fight his tiredness but lost. his head rested on top of hers, his arm loosely wrapped around her.
malia looked behind her and saw the two cuddled up. she turned back around and nudged sophie in the side, motioning behind them. sophie gave her a confused look before turning around and staring at the two "friends" in awe.
"they totally have a thing for each other." sophie said, grabbing her phone and snapping a picture of them.
"he'll have plenty of time to make a move on her." malia chuckled.
"she's practically in love with him already though, it's kind of obvious but you know.. he's oblivious." sophie said frowning.
"the cast is already waiting for them to get together, it's only a matter of time before the crew does too."
"you're right." they both sighed and went back to doing whatever they were doing before.
~~~~ "rian! wake up!" dylan called out.
"hm what?" he mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"you have to wake alysen up, she won't wake up for anyone else."
"fine." he said right before he yawned.
*shay's pov*
"alysen.. alysen wake up. the plane's about to land." rian whispered softly, gently shaking her awake. i watched as she slowly opened her eyes and smiled tiredly.
she yawned and stretched as the people on the plane got ready to land. it's obvious alysen has some type of feelings for him. it's also obvious rian has feelings for her as well.

we got off the plane and gathered all of our bags. we got into separate vans.
i got into a van with rian, dylan and sophie, while shay, momona, malia, and xochitl got into the other.
