in which he's an actor and she's a dancer. he needs to find his way and she needs to hurry. when he waits for her and his cast mates insist on meeting her, the start of an unlikely friendship begins.

a/n : i have no clue where they stayed while filming but for the purposes of this story, they all stayed at a hotel.
also i switched povs up quite a bit literally you'll probably get confused😭 _________________________________
*alysen pov*
i texted my mom that i'm safe when we arrived at the hotel we'll be staying at while we shoot. we're shooting in vancouver, and from what i've heard from the rest of the cast is that it's beautiful here.
i'm sharing a room with shay, dylan and rian are sharing, malia and sophie are sharing, and momona and xochitl are sharing.
even though we don't start shooting for another two weeks, we have to be on set at 10am tomorrow. right now, we were all gathered in rian and dylan's room talking about the show. since there's 8 of us, there's four on each bed. i'm on a bed with rian, shay, and sophie.
"you'll do great, i'm sure if it!" rian exclaimed with a smile, nudging her side. she looked up to look and him and she smiled back. the two stared at each other for a couple of seconds.
"i hope." alysen blushed, looking back down at her hands. he wrapped and arm around her and gave her a quick hug.
*alysen pov*
"you guys wanna watch a movie?" dylan asked.
"sure." everyone responded. dylan quickly found a movie and it started. when everyone saw the it was Monsters, Inc they got excited. there were two pillows per bed so two people shared one. shay and i were in the middle between rian and sophie.
of course i had to share with rian. i'm not complaining though. all of a sudden my phone dinged with a text message. i looked at my phone and saw a text from brayden.
brayden🥰: did you land safely? me: yea! i fell asleep on the flight though:/ brayden🥰: that's good! you're in vancouver right? me: yup! brayden🥰: send pictures when you get the chance me: will do! have an amazing summer and let me know how dance goes! brayden🥰: i will and you better too! dance won't be the same without you:( brayden🥰: i'll let james know about all the times you didn't kill a bug because of him this season😂 me: I FORGOT ABOUT TUMBLING NO!! can you call me next time you have tumbling so i can say hi? i really miss him :( brayden🥰: of course! i gotta get going now! me: bye brayden!
*no ones pov* rian watched as this happened. the smile on alysen's face when she saw who texted her indicated she had feelings for this unknown boy. when he looked up, he saw shay giving him a sad look, much like the one he received a couple weeks ago when they heard alysen say she liked someone named brayden.
he shook his head no and looked back at the movie.
*alysen pov* *time skip*
when the movie was over we put on another one. i started getting uncomfortable halfway through and rian noticed so he nudged me and sat up a little bit, but not a lot. i out my head on his chest and wrapped an arm around around him. he put one of his hands on my arm and wrapped his other arm around my body, pulling me closer to his body. i sighed in content as we continued watching the movie.
we finished that movie and malia put another on. rian and i shifted a little bit but we were still cuddled up.
at this point, it was about 7pm when we put the movie in and it's two hours long.
*shay pov* the movie finished around 9:15 and i looked next to me to see if alysen was ready to head back to the hotel room.
i smiled as i saw alysen and rian cuddled up, asleep. they do this a lot honestly, it's only a matter of time before they start dating at this point.
"do we leave them there?" i asked the other 5.
"we might as well. they'll probably realize their feelings for the other if they wake up next to each other." dylan said.
"goodnight." we all said and went of to our own rooms.
*alysen pov, next morning*
i woke up the next morning to the feeling of another body pressed up against my back. his arms were were wrapped tightly around my waist, our legs were tangled together, and his face was buried in my neck.
"good morning." i heard dylan speak. i could practically hear the smirk in his voice. before i could respond another voice spoke up.
"shut up dylan, let us be." rian mumbled into my neck. i could feel his hot breath on my skin and i tried to move closer to him for more warmth. he noticed and pulled me even closer.
"awwww." i grabbed the pillow that rian and i weren't using, and tossed it at him.
"fine, fine." he said. he left the room and came back a couple minutes later.
"awe theyre so cute!" i heard shay say.
"we can hear you." i mumbled.
"oh.." she laughed nervously.
"well i'd get your butts up." xochitl said.
"and hurry because it's 9:30 and we have to be at set by 10." malia added on hurriedly. that seemed to get us both up, seeing has he immediately let go of my waist and i sat up extremely fast.
"shay you have to let me in!" i yelled, running out the door. i heard her laugh and and run after me. she let me in and i rushed to find something to wear.
i quickly put this on but with black ripped jeans instead.

i put on my air force ones, brushed my hair and teeth, put on deodorant and perfume and then some concealer.
we met down in the lobby.
"i'm ready!" i panted, tired from running down multiple flights of stairs. we laughed and went off towards the two vans.
