the next two weeks before filming were absolutely uneventful.

the whole entire time we watched movies and played board games.

and now, the day before we start filming, we're all chilling in mine and shay's room.

"i'm bored." i complained.

"me too." rian sighed.

"me three." xochitl mumbled into my pillow.

"shut up!" everyone else said in unison. they all had their eyes glued to the tv, watching whatever movie was playing intently.

"can't we watch a movie when it's actually night?" i asked, rolling my eyes.

"movie marathon today!" malia exclaimed.

"it's been a movie day the past two weeks!" rian backed me up. xochitl finally lifted her head up from my pillow.

"ooo! i love this movie!" she smiled excitedly, sitting up.

"riannnnn.." i said, my voice getting higher. i looked across at him on the bed opposite of me.

"uh oh you want something.."

"hey!" i said, faking offense. he laughed.

"joking! what do you want?" he asked.

"do you have your longboard?"

"yea in my room, why?" he questioned.

"i have my skateboard, can we go outside for a while since they're being boring." momona threw popcorn at me. i picked it out of my hair and threw it at sophie.

"yea sure." he responded, getting up and heading off to get his longboard. i quickly went to over to my suitcase, pulling it away from the wall so i could grab my skateboard easier.

i left my hotel room and started walking towards his room. he walked out seconds later and we went down multiple staircases to the lobby and out the door.

i set my skateboard on the ground, putting my left foot on it and pushing off with my right. rian did the same and we rode side by side.

"the sun is starting to set." he pointed out.

"yea, it is." we rode in silence for a couple of minutes before i decided to break it.

"are there any dead ends around? we can ride up and down the road if there is."

"yea, follow me." he answered. we rode for a couple minutes before turning onto a dead end.

"the sunset is really pretty." i said, admiring the bright pink, purple, and orange in the sky.

"it really is beautiful." he replied, looking at me with a smile on his face. he slowed down and hopped off of his longboard, picking it up and walking off.

"where are you going!?" i shout, hopping off my skateboard and running to catch up with him. we walked to the end of the road and he plopped down.

at the end of the road was a field of grass with trees in the distance about half a mile away. i sat down next to him and looked at at the sunset.

"i came here so we could watch the sunset." he said. i

"it really is beautiful." i whispered. i felt tears tickling the back of my eyes. my lip quivered as i held back tears. i couldn't hold them in anymore and i let them slide down my face. at the same time the tear fell, rian turned is head and looked at me.

"what's wrong?" he asked, worry shown in his eyes.

"i miss home." i replied quietly.

"that's normal. there's nothing to be ashamed of, aly." he replied, moving closer to me.

"i used to watch sunsets on my deck back home all the time. it was one of my favorite things to do, whether it was hot or cold. i always looked at the stars too, no matter the temperature. even the weather couldn't stop me from finding peace in the sky. i always hated it whenever there were clouds, due to the fact it covered the beauty of the sky. even then i would sit and watch the clouds roll by though. the clouds fascinated me, i loved it. the different shapes. it was amazing. i really loved listening to thunderstorms as well. whenever it rained and it wasn't thundering, i would go outside and sit in it. i loved the rain. i loved the snow even more though." i said, not realized the amount of tears streaming down face increasing. rian moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. i hid my face in his neck and i wrapped my arms around him. we enjoyed each other's company for a couple of minutes before decided to head back to the hotel.

as the two left, dylan realized he should probably tell someone that they left. he pulled out his phone and texted one of the people on the crew.

dylan: rian and alysen just left, not sure where they're going

executive producer: okay thanks for letting us know, we'll keep an eye out for them

he put his phone back in his pocket and payed attention to the movie on the screen.

the executive producer knew that rian and alysen wouldn't get into any trouble, but that doesn't mean they can't get hurt.

she quickly walked down the stairs and hopped into her car. she drove down a few streets before seeing the two rolling down the streets of Vancouver.

she parked her car on the side of the street, hidden by the other cars. she got out and locked it and started walking fast to keep an eye on them.

they rode their longboard and skateboard next to each other and the executive producer took this as the opportunity to take out her phone and open her camera. she took a picture of the two and looked at it.

"now we wait, it's only a matter of time before they get together." she whispered to herself. she took a 10 second video of the two and rewatched it, smiling to herself. she started recording again when they rode down a dead end.

she watched as rian hopped of his longboard and alysen called after him. she stopped the video as they sat down and watched the sunset.

the executive producer could hear parts of their conversation. she could hear rian ask why she was crying and she could hear parts of alysen explaining why. she took a picture of them facing each other as they spoke. she took a couple more pictures as
they wrapped their arms around each other.

as they got ready to ride off back to the hotel, the executive producer ran back to her car and drove back as well.

as rian and i neared the hotel, we slowed down and picked up our longboard and skateboard. we walked into the hotel and used the elevator since we were in no hurry.

i realized i didn't grab my key card and sighed. i knocked on the door and waited for it to be opened.
when it opened, it revealed dylan.

"welcome back." he joked. we rolled our eyes and were about to go back to our spots we were in before, but realized there were only two spots left, and they weren't our previous ones. we sat in the spots and i rested my head on his shoulder while his arm wrapped around my shoulder.

there were only 20 minutes left of the movie. my eyelids grew tired and i eventually fell asleep with my head still on rian's shoulder.

alysen's breathing became slow and i knew she fell asleep. i looked at her and smiled. everyone else's phones dinged and they all looked at the notification, and looked back up smiling.

"what?" i asked.

"nothing.." they said in unison. i rolled my eyes and watched the remainder of the movie. when it finished, everyone was getting ready to go back to their own hotel rooms. i moved alysen so she would be comfortable and pulled the blankets over her body. i smiled at her and went back to dylan and i's shared room.
