For the boys, Leila's sudden appearance was not something to rejoice. The girl was very curt and only looked at Hiccup from time to time. Toothless, who was next to his best friend, also didn't take his eyes off Leila. However, there was something about her that made him feel somewhat threatened and helpless

"So... Did we already know each other?" -Said Tuffnut to break the tension- "It's strange because I don't remember you at all"

"The less you remember me, the better it will be for you" -Leila replied- "unless you want to remind me of the person who shaved that awful fake beard"

"Could you stop fighting?" -Hiccup sighed- "it's like taking care of two babies"

"I would, if your friend stopped reminding me of things I DON'T want to remember" -Leila looked straight ahead- "I have enough to be lost in the least indicated place"

"He just tried to get along" -Tuffnut shrugged- "It's not for much"

Leila stopped suddenly and turned to stare at Tuffnut. That boy had just signed his death sentence

"Of course, it isn't so much... As it wasn't so much all the damn hell that I had to go through years just to end up lost with a talkative idiot and a numb traitor!" -Leila clenched her fists and took a deep breath. She was about to say things I shouldn't

"Leila..." -Hiccup mentioned- "Calm down, Tuffnut is usually..."

"I don't care..." -she shook her head- "what matters to me is that my friend will recover and get out of here..."

"Hey, remember that Berk was your home" -Hiccup continued- "There will be no problem with you staying" Leila let out a smile of irony

"... I never had a home, Hiccup..." She sighed and turned around- "There's a lot about me that you don't know how to say that lightly..."

"Why do you say that?" -Asked Hiccup with intrigue

Leila was silent and gave her a forced smile

"For nothing, Hiccup" -she said- "now please, could we continue? I would like to see if at least something remains the same since I left"

As Leila walked forward, Tuffnut pulled Hiccup from her side and made sure she wasn't listening to them.

"Are you sure we can trust her? The one who threatens my bushy beard is not trustworthy" -Tuffnut whispered- "She may be just a pretty face, but I insist that if she sees you with this new girl... she will kill you. "

"You're exaggerating" -Hiccup tried not to give importance to the matter- "she will understand, I'm sure if I talk to her, there will be no problem"

While the boys continued to chat between whispers, Toothless took the liberty of getting closer to Leila

Something about her made him feel really tense

With concealment, he approached slowly and watched her carefully.

SHe wore no weapons. Her attitude and appearance wasn't like that of his friends

All of her was very different and that disturbed him. Leila noticed the look of the Night Fury and gave her a cocked smile

"I could never imagine that they would become such dragon friends... As far as I know, you trained to kill them" - Leila scoffed

"Well, that was before the skinny Hiccup and his night fury allied, if you wanted to know, now we are much better" -interrupted Tuffnut

"For me, they are still stubborn creatures that need a good lesson" -Leila looked at Toothless- "It will depend on them if they want to continue living the way they do"
