Adapting to being with a dragon wasn't so easy, but Leila didn't complain, since Kay's ability to collect food was very useful. But that was not the most important thing, having him by her side really made her feel safe, one could even say that Leila's bad character was disappearing thanks to her new friend

Both had to stay for a few days in a small cave to not be so cold. The rains had already started and at any time of day, the weather was wet and cold

On a morning that for a change, it was raining slightly, Kay went out to stretch freely. A small flash caught his attention from afar and with much curiosity, he slowly approached. He slipped between the fallen plants and leaves of the trees and reached his goal

It was strange that some simple chains were lying there

"Kay!"-Leila shouted his name from afar

The dragon turned to her, but out of nowhere, one men came out from among the trees and caught him

Leila saw everything from afar as soon as she left her shelter. She ran as she put on Kay, but she didn't count on other men catching her too

They were moored and taken to a huge boat where there were more dragons captured and locked in cages

Leila watched everything with dread. Who would be so heartless to have dragons in those conditions? She looked at the men carrying Kay. They were forcing him into a cage.

That full of anger at Leila

"DON'T DARE TO DAMAGE HIM!"-She shouted- "LEAVE HIM IN PEACE!"

At those words, those men began to laugh. That young girl had guts to talk to them that way

"Oh, poor thing! She thinks we will leave her pet just because he yelled at us! "-One of them scoffed

"Do you intend to do something to stop us?"-Laughed another

Blinded by anger, Leila kicked the man who had taken her all that time and managed to be free. Although she had her wrists tied, this didn't prevent her from taking a dagger from the belt of one of the men and threatening with that who would want to approach her or Kay

The entire crew remained motionless. None dared to challenge that girl now that she was armed. It was obvious that she had already lost her mind, and all for defending a useless dragon

The knock of a door opening made them panic. That meant something much worse was coming

"Why is there so much scandal?! -A voice was getting closer and closer- "I hoped you had already fulfilled my orders, because if not, you will all pay dearly!"

The crowd opened and gave way to a man. He was tall and very thin. His hair was a whitish hue just like his skin. He looked like someone ruthless because he showed no expression but annoyance on his face

His outfit was made of what looked like leather and covered it almost completely

The man, seeing Leila, merely raised his eyebrow. Were everyone scared by that simple girl? It was interesting to see how she tried to protect that dragon with such a weak and small body. She was just pathetic

"Is this why so much scandal?" -he smiled- "For an insignificant and weak girl?"

"I will not allow you to hurt my friend!"-Leila exclaimed indignantly

"The Night Fury is your friend? Wow, that is something surprising "-the man mocked

Leila frowned and pursed her lips. It was clear that this man was annoying her. She squeezed the dagger and didn't move from his place
