Lyn

Lyn had realized what was happening right away, she was just too focused on finding the next clue to think about it earlier. What else could the clue mean? As far as she knew, she and Senna were the only ones here. Who else could the clue be talking about? If Lyn didn't see Senna here, then that must mean that she went to the wrong stairs. And according to the clue, now she was supposed to be in some kind of big danger or something.

And that was when she cast her patronus, a snow fox, leading her to the other girl and also at the same time providing more light to the area. It looks like Senna had also cast the same spell, for halfway there Lyn saw another patronus, a... demiguise? And she knew it must be Senna's. Which means she's nearby.

Lyn quickened her pace, wand held at the ready, with two patronuses ahead of her, soon she saw a blurred figure and indigo robes, and the walls seemed to be... closing in on her?

"Ashlyn?" Lyn heard the other girl call out.

As if on cue, the walls stopped, frozen and still. The girls stood there for a while, a little out of breath. Slowly, the patronuses gradually faded, leaving them in darkness once more.
"Lumos."

A soft light washed over the pair and Lyn could finally see clearly, and she can finally see the other girl, she just looked... shaken. Her face was paler than usual, eyes wide, and her hand was tightly gripping her wand.

Now that the danger is over, Lyn let out a breath, lowering her wand.

"So you did come here for the clue after all," Lyn's face had returned to its normal glare.

"The paper- you have it, don't you? Give it here, I need to try something," Senna replied breathlessly as she fumbled around something in her pocket.

"Did you ever do that? When you had all the information and so gratefully kept it all to yourself? What is it you have to try anyway?" Lyn eyed the girl's pocket. Sighing, Senna pulled out a piece of paper- and that was it. One piece of paper, or at least a corner of one.

"What happened to the clues?" Lyn asked, frowning. Senna shrugged, staring at the paper.
"They've wiped out. Blank. All of them. And they all connect, but you won't be able to see it anyway."

Lyn raised an eyebrow, "Wiped out?" she echoed, "and they all connect? Prove it."

"You'll only see if you give me the paper. Not the current clue, the one I found and dropped." Senna held out her hand expectantly, waiting for Lyn.

Lyn rolled her eyes, "fine, we can swap, so that we both see them, I can give you the one I found if you want." she thrust the piece she found on the hall to Senna, then dug inside her own pocket and pulled out another slip of paper, the one she just found. "But I have to take a look at it first, unlike you, I have a good memory." Lyn added before unrolling and glancing down at the paper, then giving it to Senna.

"Watch." Senna took the last clue, the one Lyn found in the hall and held it up to the large scrap of paper. To Lyn's shock, there was a slight burst of white light- barely noticeable at all- and then the scrap connected to the larger piece. Senna smiled smugly and handed the page to Lyn, who flipped it over to check.

"See? Wiped."

It was all blank, nothing at all. As Senna said, wiped. Lyn nodded thoughtfully, wondering what this was all about as she handed the paper back to Senna. Then she remembered the words on the other scrap.

You've found the clue, you've cast the spell. What you've done is doing well. Inside out and outside in, memories keep showing kin. Do be careful, lest you wait, what's come may be a big mistake.

"Where do you-"
"Divination," Senna cut Lyn's question off halfway as she handed the clue back. "The next one is somewhere in divination, where you cannot wait. Dreams, because you'll forget, and because they can tell the future, even the bad ones, and inside out because they happen when you're asleep!"

Lyn looked fully at the girl for the first time, looking thoughtfully at her. At first, she thought that Senna Choi was just another stupid, selfish student council member, wearing makeup all day and being too soft. But now, she couldn't help feeling that that girl wasn't everything Lyn thought she was.

Lyn nodded in approval at her. Before, she really thought she hated that girl, but now, she's not that bad after all.

"Um, Lyn? We have to go back. School's starting in a few hours; I can bring you some coffee from the lounge later if you want, but I'm going back. We'll look for the next scrap tomorrow night, maybe. Bye?" Senna said awkwardly.

Lyn couldn't help smiling, "Sure, if you want to," then her face went back to its frown and she snapped, "And don't you dare call me Lyn, I never said we were friends or anything,"

Senna gave her a weird look and left.
