(Y/N) POV
My scroll woke me up with its annoying beeping, it took every fiber of my being not to chuck it against the wall. I reluctantly get up, take a shower, get dressed, keep my glove on, and head to my first class. When I walked into the classroom, nobody was there. I was confused, then stepped outside again to see if I was in the wrong class. No, I am the sign reads Professor Port. I just shrug and go sit down in the front row of the room. About fifteen minutes later, an old guy walks into the room. His eyes, covered by his bushy eyebrows, immediately dart towards me. "Ah! Hello there young man! You're quite early today." He said to me with enthusiasm, I just rolled my eyes. "I thought the class started ten minutes ago," I tell him as he raises an eyebrow. "No. It starts in thirty minutes." He corrected me as I groaned at my stupidity. I must have set the wrong time on my scroll. "Say. Aren't you that guy with the grimm dog?" He asked as I internally groaned this time. I should have expected the whole school to ask about Delta. "Come out, Delta." I say. Delta comes out of my mark and sits by my chair. The Professor's eyes widened as he jumped at the sight of him. I chuckled at his reaction. "It's all right; he's been with me for eight years. He's had plenty of chances to kill me." I reassured as he looked at me and Delta. "Well, if you say so," he said as he prepared for today's lesson. Soon, students started walking in, and after Port was about to start the class, team RWBY and Team JNPR burst through the door. "Team RWBY, JNPR you're late!" he shouts at them as they apologize and find a place to sit. I started to breathe heavily when Yang and Ruby's eyes landed on me, and because Delta was laying under my chair, all the surrounding seats were empty. To my announce they sit on either side of me but surprisingly do nothing. As the Professor talks about his adventures of his younger days, I fall asleep during the first quarter of the class. I was woken by someone yelling at me. "Mr. Redgrave! Since you are bored by my stories, you can fight a grimm! How does that sound?" He asked, a bit annoyed. I slept through his 'lecture' and I shot up out of my seat. "Now you're talkin'!" I say enthusiastically as I make my way to the locker room and back to the way to the center of the arena. I tell Delta to go inside the mark in the process. "Begin!" Port yells and opens the cage as a Boarbatusk charges at me. I roll to the side as it passes me, then I rev my sword and slash up at it causing it to fly in the air. Leaving a trail of ash and embers behind it as it squeals. My left hand radiates blue flames as I hip fire Blue rose causing a small explosion as the bullet hits the Gimm's underbelly. Everyone in the room went silent as I spun my revolver and holstered it. "Bravo! We appear to have a true huntsman in our presence!" I went back to the locker room to change and returned to my seat as the bell rang. "Well, that's all we have time for today. Class is dismissed." As he says, everyone stands up and walks out of the room. but I was stopped by two girls blocking the doorway. "(Y/N)." Ruby said with hope in her eyes. "Is that you?" She asked me as I took a breath before answering. "Yeah." I tell them. Ruby leaps forward to hug me, but I use my human semblance to turn into ember and ash, dashing behind them to make my escape. "Hey!" Yang yells in anger. "Your sister is trying to hug you! What is wrong with you?!" I don't look back at her and keep walking. I then feel someone slam and grab my torso from behind. "Let go, Ruby." I say coldly without turning around. She says nothing and cries into my back as I pry her arms off me and look back at them. "What do you two what?" I said irritated at them. "We wanted to see our brother." Ruby says with a breaking voice as tear threatens to fall. "No, You never had one anymore." I said coldly as I began to walk away "(Y/N), please!" Yang pleads but I keep my back to them as I start to sprint to my dorm. But before I could, I heard a male voice call out my name causing me to freeze in place. When I slowly looked in the direction of where it came from, my body started shaking, and my mind was telling me to run, but I couldn't. The man kept approaching me with a relieved smile. "(Y/N)? Oh my oum, it's really you!" Tai says as he tries to hug me. "Get away from me!" I yelled at him in fear, causing a crowd to form; he looked at me confused. "What? Bud, it's me, your Dad I came to-." I pulled out Blue Rose and aimed it at him. "Get the fuck away from me!" I shoot once at him and he flies back to the ground. I take this chance to get away from them. I don't give a shit where just anywhere but here.
