I slowly started gaining the feeling in my body once again. I still had no idea how much time had passed, floating in these endless Voids. It always creeped out, just as much as the first time. When I gained all feeling my body, which was faster this time, I slowly opened my eyes.
Huh, what the- I slowly started to sit up straight. Oh, my god... THERE WAS COLOR! Everything wasn't just endless darkness nor light. There were actual COLORS! My heart thumped faster, as I stood up quickly. I looked around. There was a blue sky, trees, flowers, nature! I knelt down to rub my hands against the grass. I never thought in a million years, I'd be crying over the feeling of grass. Heh. I stood up quickly again, and began looking around. This was a beautiful forest! I saw a pond in the distance and ran over to it. I looked down at my reflection. I was still wearing a white gown, black hair, and.. My eyes. My eyes? I didn't have dark bullet holes, I had shimmering dark blue eyes. They shone in the bright sun. They were gorgeous. For once, I didn't have a pale, scared looking face. I knelt down to get a better view of my face. I had freckles too. In my opinion, I was pretty cute. The wind blew my hair, and a droplet hit my reflection. Circles consumed my reflection, and I realized I was crying. I looked up at the scenery. Jesus, seeing colors makes someone this emotional? I stood up, when I heard faint talking in the distance. I hesitated for a few seconds, but I decided to follow the sound. I pushed the last tree branch, and that's when I saw it. PEOPLE! People were walking around, in a garden looking area. A giant pond with benches, a giant glass domed greenhouse, with flowers crawling against the walls. Flowers blooming in all sorts of colors, and the animals roaming freely with no care in the world. This is amazing. The things I've been through to come to this, is 100% worth it. But, where exactly am I? I walked closer to the garden, but of course with caution. I looked around to find someone to talk to, who might be able to tell me where I was. I saw a girl sitting in the grass. Her dirty blonde hair swaying in the wind. She seemed awfully thin. I went up to her and sat next to her in the grass. She turned her head slowly to look at me. She was thin, pale, and had ocean blue eyes. She was really pretty.
"Newcomer, I'm guessing? I haven't seen you around before." Her voice was a little pitched, but soothing. It was like she was whispering, but you could hear her loud and clearly.
"W-What do you mean newcomer?" I asked curiously. This was also the first time I heard my own voice, a weird feeling.
She sighed, as if used to this kinda question. "This is what we like to call, The Forbidden Garden. This is where people who die end up." She said straightforwardly. But me on the other hand, was shivering. People who died end up here? Does that mean.. I'm dead?
