Right here, Right now

Chapter 25

It had been 16 weeks since we found out I was pregnant. 16 weeks since Robyn and Niall lost their baby. Tara really wasn't bothered and none of us have seen her or Liam in a while except from Niall who basically has to see him. Today I was going to the scan that we would find the gender.

I woke up snuggled into Finn. I tried to get up but I couldn't escape Finn's musuclar arms. His hand was on my stomach as I fell back to sleep. I woke up and started to panic. It was 2pm and the scan was at 3pm. I turned to find Finn smiling down at me. "Babe, get dressed quickly" I groaned but eventually got out of bed with the help of Finn. "Babe, I'm in the car" I heard my boyfriend shout. I rushed out of the door and grabbed my phone off of the counter. I slid into the passenger seat next to Finn and he reversed out of our drive.

I was so excited to see our little one today and for some reason today felt special. My name flashed up on the board and Finn took my hand, walking into the darkened room. The doctor greeted us and I lay down on the bed, Finn still holding my hand. Dr. Edwards goes through what might happen and there is a possibility that we won't find out the gender. Finn squeezes my hand I reasurance and the doctors applies the lube and moves the torch around my small stomach. The room is silent for a minutes but Dr. Edwards breaks the silence. "and we have a girl" the doctor cheerfully sings. A tear escaped my eye as I looked up to Finn. By this time he had let go of my hand and was getting down on one knee. I soon realised what he was doing which caused me to cry even more. "Lauren Casey Kennedy, I have been debating when the right moment in time to do this but I guess now is a great time" he pulls out the ring and I shuffle up on the bed a bit more. "I loved you since the day Jack brought you home, through thick and thin I have loved you and we have been through alot together. Now we have a beautiful little girl and I love you more than I can describe I figured now would be the best time. In fact the greatest time. Lauren Casey Kenney, will you marry me" My throat tenses up and I can't speak through the tears so I just nod and hurl myself at him. We pull apart and Finn slides the ring on my finger and then kisses me. We are interuppted by aw's from the waiting room. Finn helps me up and we leave the room to head home.

The rest of the night Finn sat there playing with my ring while we were cuddled up in a blanket watching movies. We had a takeaway and I must say best night ever. As always I fell asleep, Finn rubbing circles on my stomach and me rested on his lap.

Yay, they are engagaged. So I have one more chapter then and Epouligue. Again, I really can't spell to save my life. But there will be a sequel going up and the name reveal is in the next Chapter.
