Emma got out of bed. She felt light headed and sneeze into her elbow. The perfectionist didn't want to stay home cause she felt sick. She got out of bed and made her way into her bathroom.
After doing her bathroom rituals, she put yellow shirt and a black jean. She brushed her long blonde hair out and and used a yellow hair clip to hold it out of her face. She double checked to make sure her morpher was in her bag, she made her way down stairs
When she got to the dinning table she sneeze again and goosebumps formed on the exposed hands
"Sick?" A voice asked from behind her
Emma turned to her older brother by two years and smiled. They look really identical
"No. Just a little cold" She replied
"Yeah. The weather yester night was really cold. I slept like a baby" Mark said
Emma let out a small laugh and took her set on the dining table. Mark sat opposite her and her mom, Mrs Wilson came in from the kitchen and sat between her children at the end of the table. After saying their prayers, the family digged in to the breakfast - pancakes.
A few minutes later Emma picked her empty plate and went to the kitchen. She washed it and went back to the dining table were her mom and brother were now talking politics.
"I'm off" She said
Her mom and elder brother looked over at her
"Bye sweetie. Be careful out there" Her mom said
"Be home early" Mark said
"Okay. Bye" Emma said and was already at the door
She shivered slightly realising the weather was still a bit cold from last night's rain
Her house was just seven blocks away from the school and she usually walks but today, there is a black car waiting at her the front.
"Finally, she comes out" Logan sighed from inside the car
They - himself and Finley - have been waiting for the yellow ranger for five minutes and it definitely wasn't Logan's idea. Finley had asked him to stop on their way to school
"What are you guys doing here?" Emma asked when she got to the car
"Get in" Logan hissed at her annoyed he had to wait
"What?" Emma asked confused
"We're giving you a ride to school. Thought you might want one." Finley said with a shrug
The yellow ranger was hesitant to get in the car but seeing that turning down the offer would be rude, she got in the back and made herself comfortable
Logan started the car and began driving
"So, why did you guys decide to pick me? What of Noah?" Emma asked
"Noah takes the bus cause he likes to. Nathan drives Mila cause she doesn't have a license yet. Since you don't have a car, we thought giving you a ride would be the friendly thing to do" Finley said changing the song that was playing in the car
Emma rolled her eyes
"We're team mates guys. Not friends. You don't have to do these sort of things for me" she said
For a moment, the car was silent but the music
"I don't see why we can't be both" Finley said
"Yeah, little miss I'm perfect. Why can't we friends?" Logan asked. No one had ever not want to be friends with him before
"1, you guys and I are from different worlds. It just doesn't work and 2, don't call me that. If there's anyone here with ego problem, it's you" Emma said
