"Hey Princess" Logan said as he sat opposite Vellvin on the mat with the picnic basket between them
He tried to kiss her but the girl turned away, looking sad
"Hey, what's wrong?" Logan asked turning her face to look at him
"It's nothing" Vellvin said
"No. It's not nothing. Please tell me what's wrong" Logan said
Vellvin look down and played with her fingers
"Your friend don't like me does he?" She asked in a small voice
"Which of my friends?" Logan asked the girl
Vellvin look up at him
"The one with the red shirt." She said
Logan frowned
"Come one, don't be like that. All of my friends adore you, even Nate." He said
"But he didn't want you coming here. Maybe he's right. Maybe it's not save to be around me" she said small tears falling from her eyes
She picked her purse and got up and began walking away but Logan quickly grabbed her hand
"Vell, I don't care what Nate thinks. I love so and I'll do anything for you" He said
Vellvin smiled and turned to him
"Really?" She asked
"Really" Logan said
Vellvin smiled again and kissed him on the cheek. Logan felt light headed and lean into her.

Nathan sat in his car and looked at the house opposite him. He looked at the time. Eight in the morning. The others were at school but they haven't heard from the black ranger since the day before
Nathan sighed and got out of the car. He walked to the door pressed the door bell
A few minutes later, Emily opened the door and looked at the person standing there. Nathan shrugged off the tiny uncomfortable feeling and looked at the girl
"Hey" Nathan said
"Hello. Can I help you?" The young girl asked
"Um, you're Emily right, Logan's sister" Nathan asked "I'm Nate. Logan's friend"
Emily nodded remembering her brother mentioning a Nate to her
"Is Logan home?" Nathan asked
The girl shook her head
"Logan didn't come home last night. I waited but he didn't. Mom called Finley and he said Logan sleep over at his" she said
