WHY CHOOSE TO WRITE?
Why do writers choose to write?
In a world where nothing seems right,
A world where dysfunctional instability is portrayed as normal,
Why then do they choose to write when all is just too abnormal?
Some write to make it a career,
Abnormality is okay enough for them to withstand its barrier,
Unperturbed by the ferocious instability life has to offer,
Writing to them is all to die for than just a mere extra.
There are others who write to ease up pressure,
Obstinate is the frustration they unwillingly incur,
On and on they keep their quills dancing,
The peace of mind they get out of it is so uncompromising.
While others use this skill for goodnesses that add value,
Some specifics use it to wade off their demons when due,
The types lost right in the cold world of depression,
Making their feelings known through their unforgiving obsession.
Why I write is so very unexplainable to me,
Still doesn't stop me from what I want to be,
With my very own obsession flying around my head,
Writing to me is more than just being heard.
