THE GHOST IN MY DREAM
The terror tormenting the peace of my other life,
The menace threatening the essence of my sleep with no knife,
Sleep is needed for my system to reset,
The ghost in my dream is a virus to my health.
The ogre that sweeps around the unseen world,
The blank-minded threat without a sword,
The close of my eyes is like a million years away,
The ghost in my dream is always waiting at bay.
The phantom with the ability of a chameleon,
The will to camouflage makes it a tyrannical champion,
High on pills like I am without a sleep,
The ghost in my dream awaits for me to slip.
Mist of fright in the air so thick,
Activities unrestricted so sick,
Sufficient sleep is like a lite year away,
The ghost in my dream is always active everyday.
Let me in or let me out,
The voice I can’t do nothing about,
Loss of sleep is like a dead man walking,
The ghost in my dream would never stop stalking.
