THE EYES IN THE CLOSET
Like balls of different sizes are the eyes,
Callously rusty and cold as ice,
The closet houses these abominations with pride,
The rollercoaster attached is far from being a joyride. Can you see the eyes within?
The coldness keeping tabs on the comfort of your inn,
Hidden unseen within the bosom of the closet,
Stares so freezing like the cold hands of death.Versatile with stares so intense,
Nothing goes beyond the reach of their foul lens.
On and off they switch like power,
Watch us randomly make decisions by the hour.Surveillance beyond any intelligence,
To no one do they pledge any allegiance,
Pay good attention to figure them stalking you,
You can’t just erase them off your mind like you never knew.Do they follow us everywhere we choose to go?
I do feel eyes watching me everywhere I go,
Restricted not to the closet I guess,
These scouts over our lives are never settling for less.
