Everyone has an ability or more than one ability(s) but that isn't discovered or used until you turn 18. Once you turn that age, you find a note telling you your ability before you gain it and learn how to use it. The ability(s) that people get can be mostly like creation, invisibility, human strength. Shape shifting, manipulation. Things like that. It was really rare to get a very dangerous and deadly ability but in this case you got the really dangerous ability, you just turned 18 today and you haven't been able to use your ability just yet. You woke up to find a note on your desk stating your ability(s), that you've gained but it's one of the most dangerous ones and how you use it is up to you. So here you are at school, putting your books away in your locker before you best friend bias( who you had a crush on since middle school, they don't have the dangerous ability, only you) made their way to you with the biggest most brightest smile on their face, was holding a gift bag and balloons. Happy birthday Y/N!" They chirped with excitement. " What ability did you get?" They ask you still smiling.
