–––––THE SUN SHONE BRIGHTLY AND HIT AKAASHI'S EYES , making him forcefully open them. He groaned as he rubbed his eyes and sighed for the morning that came too quickly.Though it was cold, the sun never failed to shine at its brightest. He pulled the blanket over his face to escape the light but the attempt was a fail. He sighed as he got up and got ready for school. He was still tired from yesterday's practice and studying till midnight for the examination that were soon.
Following his routine and making his way to school, he came across Bokuto, his senior and his teammate. He seemed energetic as always. 'how does he never gets tired?' Akaashi thought to himself as he proceeded to greet him and Bokuto greeted back with the kind of energy Akaashi could not even dream of.
"Today, we need to practice a lot Akaashi!! Specially for my straight shots." Bokuto reminded Akaashi what he wanted to forget for a while.
Poor Akaashi wished for a little break from his school and volleyball. Even though he loved volleyball, he needed some time off to simply rest.
Akaashi nodded at Bokuto and let out a tired smile. Making his way to the class, the bell rung.
Students rushed to their seats. The homeroom teacher walked. "How are you all preparing for the upcoming examination?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Anyway, we teachers came up with something. You all need to do a project." Everyone groaned in unison.
"Listen guys. You can choose the person you get to work with and the marks you get will be counted in your finals so this better be good."
"Now pair up, I'll give you five minutes." Upon her words, the class grew loud, discussing among themselves as Akaashi sat quietly, waiting someone to approach him or waiting everyone to get chosen so he can peacefully do his alone.
"Time up! Anyone who's left?"
Akaashi raised his hand.
"I'm sorry I'm late!" Y/n came running in the class.
"Late again, y/n."
"I am sorry." You apologized as you panted.
"Guess you'll have to pair up with Akaashi."
