––––– "GUESS YOU'LL HAVE TO PAIR UP WITH AKAASHI." You looked at Akaashi and nodded. You didn't know Akaashi much except for the fact that he was in your class and played volleyball.
He was of a quiet nature and somehow always managed to looked tired. You shook your head thinking how will you make it work with a personality like Akaashi's as you made your way to your seat.
"So guys you have two weeks to complete this project." The teacher continued and wrote the objectives of out project on the board and proceeded to explain what you all had to do.
The due date wasn't very far so you decided to talk to Akaashi right after the class and plan the strategy of your work but as soon as the school was over he walked out, not wasting a single second.
You quickly gathered your stuff and ran towards his figure, slowly disappearing into the crowd of other students. "Akaashi!" You called out his name, running towards him.
He calmly looked back and found you panting hard. "Who are you?" He questioned to which you were confused.
You were a lively girl in the class and almost everyone knew you, or you just thought. You joked around every once in a while with everyone and people liked being around you as much as you liked being around them.
"Your partner?" You looked at him.
He nodded. that's it?
"Why are you here?"
"Umm... I need to get done with this assignment as soon as possible so I can focus on my studies." You told him.
"You don't need to worry, you can study, I'll complete the project."
"Excuse me? It's a group work. We divide and work together." You out your hands on your waist, thinking how he was stealing the work from you but at the same time taking off the burden off your shoulders.
He sighed and nodded. "Meet me after school tomorrow, at the library. I'll skip the practice tomorrow." He told you, more like he told himself as he turned around and walked away.
Weird.
