–––––SPENDING AN ENTIRE WEEK WITH YOU, LEARNING ABOUT YOU and your goals, Akaashi couldn't help but admire you a little bit.

He liked it how you made your goals clear and prioritized it whereas he didn't even know what he wanted to do after school. All he had was volleyball and he wanted to find, explore himself.

Know what sets his soul on fire and continue that path, just like you.

After class, he made his way to the library and found you already there, although you both studied in the same class, it was a mystery how you got there before him everytime. He just looked at you from afar, picking out the same books you both picked out yesterday.

Whenever he looked at you, he was reminded, more like motivated to find what's his. What belonged to him. A profession, a future.

He walked towards you and took the books from your hand and made his way to the table.

You were becoming like the sun. Bright. Full of ambitions and dedicated to them.

"You seem clueless." You settled down and opened the books.

"Sorry?"

"About your future." It was likd you read his mind and he was left stunned.

"Yeah, I'm not really sure what I want to become." He shook his head, lost for a moment.

"Well, all this week, all that I got to know you, you seem more concerned with the writing and grammar than the content." You let out a laugh.

And you were right. He realized you were sharp. Sharp to know little things. "Yes, I like keeping my writing clean and free of grammatical errors."  He nodded and smiled a bit. A smile worth watching.

"And I know you secretly run through my part of the project and edit it." You laughed.

He was caught, he laughed as well. "I'm sorry." He apologized. "I cannot help it."

"Why not consider a profession that includes editing." You just said it without giving it a thought.

Akaashi was left astounded. How could he not think about it before? It would make a pretty good profession and he'd be able to do something he enjoys.

Akaashi, for a moment had never felt so dumb for he couldn't think of anything like that and just like that, you suggested an ideal profession for him. It was perfect.

"I'll think about it." Of course he meant he'll do all the researching once he gets home and decide in what kind of field he wanted to be in.

'thank you y/n.' he thought to himself as he let out the most sincere smile you'd have ever seen.
