Y/n’s POV
I walk into Nat's room wearing my blue dress and horrible heels. Nat and Pepper run up to me and sit me in a chair.
“I think we should curl her hair” Nat says
“I agree,” Pepper replies. They start doing my hair while I watch, smiling at them.
“What’s with the face?” Nat asks
“It’s just. I don’t remember my mother and I’ve never had someone do my hair before” I say trying to hide my embarrassment
“Hey it’s ok. Where your family now, Y/n” Pepper says and Nat nods.
“Really?” I ask looking at them through the mirrors. They both smile and nod. Once They are done I look at myself in the mirror and smile.
“Wow. It’s just missing something.” I pull out my moon necklace and put it around my neck.
“Where did you get that? I didn’t see it when we first found you.” Nat asks
“This is my birth parents and you didn’t see it because Jarvis retrieved it for me while cleaning up the glass. Thank you again Jarvis.”
“No problem, Miss.” Jarvis replies while Nat nods in understanding. I turn to the mirror and look at my hair, dress, and necklace. I look beautiful. (Dress, hair, and necklace are up above.)
Nat was wearing a black dress that hugged her knees and Pepper wore a red dress that stopped at her ankles. We all look at each other and ourselves before we start heading to the party. Nat stops me before we walk into the large lounge and bar.
“Remember don’t talk to anyone suspicious and stay with one of the avengers or Pep at all times.” She says to me, looking serious.
“I remember” I said, giving her a reassuring smile, then we walked into the guest filled room.
“Hey Sleeping beauty, over here!” I see Tony wave to me.
“Hi” is all I say, nervous being at my first party.
“You look great kid. Don’t stress about this, it’s just a party.” He says in a calm voice. I smile at him and see Cap waving me over.
“Looks like capsicle wants you. Have fun shortie.”
“You too, tin can” I say, then walk over to Steve.
“Hey there! You’ll be sticking with me a bit and then can go hang out with Tony.” he says when I get to him.
“Okay!” I smile at him. We talk with some random people and bruce. I tell Steve that I’m going to go find Tony then start towards the bar, where I know he’ll be. Several hours went by and Tony, Clint, and some other guys were all drunk so we called it a night.
I helped Pepper carry Tony to bed, then headed to my room. I walk in, close the door and lock it, then walk over to my bathroom to change into pj’s.
I make my way over to my bed when I feel something hit my neck and my leg in sinqe. I look at my leg and see a small dagger then start to stumble back and pull a little blue dart from my neck. I slide down a wall and see someone walking towards me...
The last thing I see is a metal arm as black dots cloud my vision and everything goes dark.
