3 DAYS LATER
Y/n’s POV
Today is the day Bucky and I are going to escape. Or at least try. We went over the plan secretly more than once and all we have to do is make sure I don’t get into that chair and Bucky doesn’t get caught.
“Hello Y/n” A strange voice startles me. I look up at his skull looking face and hide my gag with a cough.
He glares down at me. “Not like what you see, child?”
“I’m 16” I glare back at him. He stands there towering over me and we continue to glare at each other, neither breaking our eyes away.
“You will learn to respect me but today we have something extra special planned for you.” He gives me an evil smile and nods at the door. Two soldiers grab me by my arms and stick a needle in my neck then starts dragging me over to the door. I feel my energy start to drain meaning that my new “abilities” won’t work. The Winter Soldier who was standing in the corner starts to follow us.
“Soldier” Red Skull stops him. “I need to speak to you in my office.” He says and walks out. I give Bucky a panicked look and start to fight harder. He looks at me with a ‘I have a plan’ look and walks out. The soldiers holding me follow out the door but all of a sudden they were thrown off me. This was it, it’s escape or be captured.
I stand up and bucky grabs my arm to get me moving. He runs down the halls with me stumbling after him. I hear guns go off behind me then a loud explosion. I look at Bucky wondering if he placed bombs anywhere, but one look at his confused expression told me he didn’t.
“Keep running!” He yells over the chaos and we continue running as bullets and bombs keep going off. All of a sudden the ceiling starts to crumble in front of us, I look at him and he nods. We dive forward as the ceiling gives in and lands with a thump.
Holy Sh*t
I look at the rubble then at Bucky.
“As badass as that was let's not do it again, please.” I half joke. He chuckles but immediately stops when he looks behind us and jumps up pulling me up with him. I turn around and see about a dozen Hydra soldiers with their guns aimed at our heads. Bucky and share a look before all hell breaks loose.
Natasha’s POV
“The distraction booms have been placed” I say into my com.
“Alright. Get to the control room with Clint, they’ll blow in 1 minute” Steve replies. I follow the directions Clint gave me as I run down the Hallways to the control room.
“Take a right, then a left, then go straight until you see a large gym looking room.” Clint says in my ear.
“Thanks Barton” I took the turns and found the place he was talking about. “Where now?” I ask.
“Up those stares, take a right, then you're there.” He says. I run up the stairs and take a right bursting through the closest door with my gun aimed.
“What? No thank you?” Clint turns around in the chair he was sitting in.
“Nope” I say simply, moving to the security cameras.
“10 Seconds until they go kaboom” I hear Tony say in the coms. I start looking through the cameras searching for Y/n. One camera catches my eye when I see the man who took her run past the camera Y/n following close behind him.
“I have eyes on Y/n'' I announce to everyone else. Clint slides his chair over to my screen and we watch as Y/n and the man run through the hallways while the bombs are exploding around them.
“Where!?” Tony asks urgently.
“She’s heading straight though where the bombs are!” I yell into the com.
“Shit” Steve says.
“I can try to teleport to her.” Loki says. He wasn’t supposed to come but Thor begged us to give him a chance. It’s obvious no one’s gonna let him anywhere near her but I don’t think we really have any other option.
“Absolutely not,” Tony says.
“We may not have any other choice” I mutter.
“Do it Loki,” Steve says.
“On it” Loki answers. I can practically see the smirk on his face.
Y/n’s POV
Bucky and I are fighting the Hydra soldiers when a bomb explodes next to me sending me into the growing group of soldiers. Before I could get up they were on top of me trying to stick a needle into me wherever they could. I punch and doge as I catch a glimpse of bucky struggling to keep the needles away and get to me at the same time. A needle makes its way into my neck as a knife logged itself into the Hydra soldiers head. I look over and see Loki run up to me.
“We need to get you out of here.” He said as he picked me up bridal style. I look at him clearly confused.
“Who do you think planted the bombs?” he asks me, then it all makes sense.
“You all are idiots” I say, my words slur together. “Wait! Get bucky first!” I yell while trying to get out of his arms but failing.
“Who?” I point to Bucky who was still fighting soldiers. “The one who took you?” he asks.
“Brainwashed… Didn’t… have... a choice.” I answer fighting to keep my eyes open.
“Fine” he mumbles. I look at the ceiling as I surrender myself into the darkness.
Bucky’s POV
I stay focused on the Hydra soldiers in front of me as the man in green armor holds Y/n in his arms. I was about to choke another soldier when he suddenly collapsed in front of me with a knife sticking out of his back. I don’t question it and move on to the next soldier in front of me. I turn around hoping to stop the soldier that snuck up behind me, I stop as I look into the green eyes of the armored man.
“Put your hand on my shoulder so I can teleport us out of here.” he snaps. I lay my hand on his shoulder and I suddenly feel the urge to close my eyes, but when I open them I am standing in a jet with 5 other people around me.
“What is he doing here?” The one in the metal suit shouts at the god.
“Y/n wanted me to get him too so I did” the green eyed god said. “She also said he was brainwashed and didn’t have a choice.” he added, shrugging his shoulder like it was a normal thing to say. The 5 people just glared at him.
“Did you get her?” A blond man I recognize from my flashbacks says as he walks in. He looked at me then stopped in his tracks. “Buck?” he asks. I nod.
“You look familiar but I do not remember you” I whisper. We just stand there not saying anything.
“You know this ass bag?” The metal suit asks.
“Yeah.” is all the blue eyed man said as everyone stayed quiet, no one wanting to be the one to break the silence.
“May I put her down now?”
