5 DAYS LATER
Natasha’s POV
It has been 2 months and 10 days since Y/n’s disappearance and the whole team is on edge. None of us knew that she was the one holding us together like glue, but without glue nothing sticks or stays together. Tony hasn’t gotten much sleep and is always in his lab trying to distract himself. Thor is always down and only coming out for food. Loki seems to be enjoying himself. Steve is on a computer looking for clues most of the time. Clint tries to lighten the mood but most of his conversations lead to awkward silence. Bruce keeps to himself and gets lost in his thoughts while staring at a wall or off in the distance. I am fine... I guess. I feel horrible that we lost her and have no leads, I miss her. I miss talking to her, I miss playing games with her, I miss laughing with her, I miss joking with her, I miss training her, I… I miss her a lot.
“I’ve got something! Everyone I got something!” I bounce up and run towards Steve's voice.
I was the first one there, but Tony and Thor burst through the door at the same time knocking each other over. If I hadn’t got here first I would have gotten caught up in that mess also. Clint popped out of the vent in the corner of the room and Bruce came in after Tony and Thor. We all gathered around the computer.
“I was lookin-”
“How rude of you all to start the party without me.” Loki cut Steve off and stood next to Thor.
“As I was saying I was looking at all the confirmed Hydra bases when an engey pike blasted from this supposedly abandoned Hydra base, but what if it is not abandoned. They could be keeping Y/n there!” Steve said.
We all looked at each other and I nod to Steve.
“5 munites get what you need and meet in the queen jet.” Steve said going into Captain mode and everyone scattered, including Loki.
Random POV
Once everyone was on the queen jet Steve explained the plan and everyone agreed. They landed the jet and split into 2 groups. Thor, Loki, and Tony went towards the back entrance while Cap, Nat, and Clint went to the front entrance.
“Is everyone in position?” Steve asked.
“In position, old man” Tony replied, sounding like his usual self. Cap smiled, not minding the comment.
“Ok, let's do this.” Cap said then burst through the entrance followed by Natasha and Clint.
They make their way throughout the base knocking out any Hydra agents that got in their way. Thor, Loki, and Tony met up with Cap, Nat, and Clint.
“Find anything?” Natasha asked Tony.
“No... you?”
“No”
“There is still the rest of the base to search” Cap reassured them. They started searching room after room but came back empty handed. They stood in the base looking for anything else useful since the one thing they came here for wasn’t.
“Has anyone seen Clint?” Nat asked. Everyone shook their heads.
“Guys, I found a storage room!” Clint says excitedly in their ears.
“And what's so exciting about a storage room?” Steve asked.
“I found a file on Y/n… I know we're they're keeping her!” Clint announces.
Once everyone got back to the tower they walked into the conference room and looked over the file along with a few others they had grabbed for Fury.
