Y/n’s POV
I feel something poke my arm and slide into my skin. I try to open my eyes but I can’t. Fear starts to bubble in the pit of my stomach as another thing slides into my skin. I feel some kind of fluid enter my veins and start to make its way to my chest until I feel a bolt of energy enter my heart. I was then overcome with a burning sensation and squint my eyes hoping for it to stop. The burning spread all over my body and I screamed out as blue flames erupt from my body, then tiredness took over and I was pushed into a darkened sleep.
Natasha’s POV
Three hours later we met in a room with a round table in the center.
“Ok, what do we have?” Steve asked once everyone was in the room. Except for Loki, we locked him in this room.
“Nat and I checked the cameras and guest list multiple times. No one suspicious came in and nothing suspicious happened.” Clint says.
“The window was loose from the outside when I checked.” Thor said
“The tests came back...” Bruce started and everyone went quiet to hear what the tests came up with. “It is her blood.” Bruce finished sadly.
“What about the dart?” I asked.
“Just a neutralizer. It should have only made her pass out.” Bruse answered
“Sir, I have finished bypassing the lock codes.” Jarvis said.
“Pull up the video feed” Tony ordered looking up at the large screen as it sprang to life.
We watch as she walks over to her bed then in a blink of an eye there was a small knife sticking out of her thigh. I see Thor’s hands ball into fists. Y/n slowly backs away until she hits the wall and slides down it while pulling the dart from her neck. She places a hand on her bleeding thigh then someone climbs through the window. He had shoulder long hair and a metal looking arm with a red star on the shoulder. He walked over to her now limp body, then grabbed the scruff of her shirt and dragged her behind him as he made his exit.
We all stood there in silence as the screen went blank.
“At least you all know it was not me.” Loki said as he walked in and sat in one of the chairs. We all glared at him, but he didn’t seem to notice or care.
“How did you get out?” Steve growled as he walked towards Loki.
“Not all my magic has been ripped away from me you know.” Loki smirked at him.
“He is the least of our problems right now. We need to find out who took Y/n and get her back.” Clint said looking between Cap and Loki.
“The archer is correct'' Loki said smiling mischievously. Steve glared at the god of mischief then turned and walked towards one of the computers.
Everyone starts leaving to find out any information on the metal-armed kidnapper. I walk over and sit next to Tony who has spoken only once. I knew Y/n and him had gotten close but I didn’t know her disappearance would cause him to go quiet.
“We’ll find her Tony, I promise” I say quietly. I know I shouldn’t make promises I can’t keep but I can’t help it. Tony nods then gets up and leaves. I share a look with Steve who is still on the computer, he’s thinking the same thing. Y/n has grown on us all and we are her family. We will find her and bring her back, she has been through so much already and I can’t bare to think about what they could be doing to her right now. I walk over to another computer across from Steves and start typing away.
????’s POV
“Did the serum work?” I asked as a scientist walked into my office.
“Yes sir, it has. With your rebirth and our two weapons, we will be able to take down SHIELD and the Avengers!” The scientist explained excitedly.
“Is our second weapon ready for the next serum?” I look at him.
“She is.”
“Then what are you waiting for?” I said angrily.
“Right away sir” He replied immediately.
“Oh and send in our first weapon” I added as he reached the door.
“Yes sir” and with that he disappears. A few moments later the door opens and the assassin walks in.
“You wished to see me sir” He asked
“Yes, soldier. I am assigning you a partner.” I say then look at him. “She is still being tested but I want you to train her and be her partner.” He keeps his eyes on me the entire time “She now holds a large amount of power and you and her together will be…” I chuckle,
“disastrous”
My lips curve into a wicked grin “Do you understand soldier?” I give him a cold empty stare, one that I had perfected in 1945.
“Yes sir”
“Good. you are dismissed.” Once he left I smiled. With myself, the winter soldier, and the girl. SHIELD and the Avengers will fall and Hydra... will rise.
