I don't mind spendin' everyday

Out on your corner in the pourin' rain

Look for the girl with the broken smile

Ask her if she wants to stay a while

And she will be loved

Aurora

When taken, what does Alihotsy Draught cause?

Right now I was sitting in the dining hall trying to get through my potions homework, and also trying to ignore Draco and his group of friends glancing my way every once in a while, making faces. I just avert my eyes away from them and continue to answer questions about different types of potions.

The Gryffindors at the table across the room are also glancing my way. Fred, George, Hermione, Ron, and Harry all keep stealing glances at me, do they think they're being secretive about it? They're definitely being way too obvious. I just tried to ignore the stares from both groups and continue my homework, until Hermione randomly comes over and sits across from me. I pick my head up to look at her, shocked that she came to sit here.

"Uh, hi?" I look around wondering if she came to sit here with someone else, but I was the only one around.

"Hey, Aurora, sorry we haven't talked since the train, it's just that school's been busy an-"

"And I'm a Slytherin?" I finish her sentence for her and raise my eyebrow. She was shocked at my straight forwardness.

"Well no, I mean yes, no no no... I meant-"

"It's okay Hermione I understand. You don't have to feel bad."

"Well, I do feel bad because you were really sweet and I shouldn't judge you just because you're in Slytherin. I really think that we can be good friends. So, um, would you want to go watch the Gryffindor quidditch tryouts with me? Ron, George, Harry and Fred are going to be there." She leaned in a bit closer when she said Fred's name. But I was too excited to notice, I really thought they hated me but they actually want to hangout with me.

"Yeah sure, that sounds great!"

"Great! Well I'll see you there." She stands up and walks back to the Gryffindor table. A couple minutes later, I see one of the twins get up and exit the dining hall, grinning. I can't tell which one it is from this far. I made a mental note to ask them how I could tell them apart. My thoughts are interrupted when I feel something hit my face, I look down at the object and it's a piece of bread. My head turns to Draco's group and they're all snickering. They're literal children. I just shake my head and flick the bread away from my book and get back to my homework.

About an hour later, I collect all of my things and leave the dining hall, quickly dropping off my belongings and heading down to the quidditch field. My eyes search the stands and find Hermione sitting and talking with Luna and Neville. I join them, saying my hello's to all three. We talk for a little bit about our classes and such until our attention is turned to the field when tryouts started. We cheered when someone would score a goal or made a save. First the keepers tried out and now it was the beaters turn. Fred and George were the ones observing the second and third years trying out. It was hard to watch. The second and third years trying out were clearly scared of the bludgers. Fred and George were becoming frustrated. At one point George was trying to show a second year how to hold the bat that you hit the bludgers with, and a bludger came soaring towards them. The second year dove out of the way and George didn't even notice until he was on the ground, holding his wrist. His face was scrunched up in pain. We ran down to the field, where Fred was now helping his brother up.
