Chapter 2

Sofía - Bulgaria, 2020

It happened in Bulgaria.

There isn't much doubt about it because in that time they were highly sensitive. It was the last time they would be filming together as Tessa and Hardin. A stage in their lives was coming to an end and with it the feelings started to come out.

It has been a long journey. From "good casting" to replacing it by "I love you 's", although these three last words weren't heard by anyone but them. The heart wants what it wants, nobody chooses who they fall in love with.

So that night at the After 3 & 4 wrap party they were carried away by nerves, tears and all the emotion of finishing filming. It was obvious that their emotions got away, because at the same time the precautions also did.

But none of them realized about it until almost two months later.

Filming had ended and everyone was back at their home for Christmas. This leaves Jo in Los Angeles and Hero in London.

Los Ángeles, 2020-21

Josephine's hips and abdomen have always been wider than most girls, not that it is a problem for her, but if you add it to all the stress from being on set, coming back home for holidays and preparing the next weeks for Moxie 's promo... she doesn't even think about the possibility of being pregnant.

The few days she has of holidays, she spends them in Los Angeles, celebrating with her friends. This year she didn't go to her native country, Australia, because her next movie Moxie is hitting Netflix on March 2021. With the premiere coming soon, the team had scheduled tons of interviews and photoshoots for the next days. 

Besides, she has a quick trip to England planned on February. Although the After era is already wrapped for them, their relationship has just started. Hero thinks that Jo's visit to his lovely country is a nice first step on knowing a bit more of each other.

But the night she is going to buy her plane ticket, ends up being the night where the trip to England is a simple plan that she won't be accomplishing anytime soon. 

The morning had been very busy for Josephine, she had been doing her last interviews and her energy faded in a sudden, resulting in her fainting in the middle of the day.

Hero was expecting her call that night so he could help Jo choose what ticket she should buy, although the call he received was not like he ever imagined.
