Lyn's pov

Thanksgiving
They day where you sit at the dinner table with your family and talk about what your grateful for while having a feast
Wonderful thanksgiving
Well this year thanksgiving is gunna be ass
Straight ass
I don't want to sit at this table and look at my worst enemy
My father
I am thankfully for almost everything but him
I don't want him here on this special day
He is making it not so special
All week
During my break off stupid school
He has been bothering me
And try to control my life
Asks me were am i going
Or who are you on the phone with
Or who said you can bring friends over
Like he can do something
He can't
He's just making this break horrible
I'm just surprised he's been able to hide the drugs For so long

"Kids come the foods ready!!!"
My mom yelled from downstairs
I got up off my bed and walked out my room
Then marcos and Mason come out of their room
Then we all looked at eachother and let out a sigh and walked downstairs
And sat at the table
It was quiet
Like you could hear the crickets outside

"Sooo..... What are we thankful for?"
My mom said

"My scholarship and my friends and family"
Mason said

"Good good who's next"
My mom said

"I'll go... Um I'm thankful for my friends and family and... Food"
He said and i let out a chuckle
Then everybody looked at me
Like it was my turn
But i just looked back

"I'll go I'm thankful for all of you and my house and my money and most importantly my food"
My mom said and while she was saying the lats part she looked at marcos and smiled
I wasn't going next i didn't want to

"Lyn"
My father said I ignored him I didn't even look at him I just looked around
Then he let out a sigh

"Fine I'll go... I'm thankful for my job my kids"

"*cough* cap *cough cough*"
I said while coughing my mom didn't hear me

"make sure to cover your mouth"

"I did"
I said
Now it's my turn

"Hm i guess it's my turn.... Um I'm thankful for brook, Daniel, Kairi, alejandro, jacob, gian, Mattia, mom, marcos, Mason,..... OH and my bio teacher she's cool"
I said

"Anyone else"
My dad said

"No we can we pray now?"
I said
And my mom nodded her head and we all held hands and prayed

I was just on my phone
Then mattia called me

"Hello"
I said

"Hey come outside"

"Why are you gunna kidnap me"
I said

"No get out here"
He said

"Ok ok.. Um ima get some air ok"
I said and everybody nodded their heads
And i got up and walked outside to mattia standing out on the side walk
I hung up and walked over to him

"Thanksgiving was ass"
Mattia and i said at the same time
Then we started laughing

"I'm bored"

I said while sitting on the curb then Mattia sat next to me

Mattia's pov

"Same..... What did you say you were thankful for"
I asked

"Um... Brook, Daniel, jacob, Kairi, alejandro, you, gian, my mom, marcos, and Mason"
She said Mason-
Shut the fuck up
She's related to him
Oh my god

"Your related to Mason!?"

"Ya he's my older brother"

"You live in such a popular family why aren't you popular"

"Because I don't know I don't like those people I don't wanna be them"
She said while putting her head on my shoulder
Anyways can we talk about how she said she was thankful for ME!? Like I feel so proud of myself she used to hate me

Now she's grateful for me
I don't know how to act with this piece of information

"What did you say you were thankful for"

"Um i said Kairi, alejandro, a couple people you don't know, family and ya that's about it"
I said
