Even Heroes Need Saved.

Chapter 2.

The next day was any other day only this time there were slight changes. Roxanne was in Megamind's secret lair talking with her now fianceé about wedding plans. She got there early as neither of them could sleep as they were excited. "So invitations. Who are we going to invite?" Roxanne asked. "Depends on how big you want the wedding to be. It can be just family and friends or public of all Metrocity." Megamind replied. "How about a friends and family wedding at a chruch with news broadcasting it but the reception is public." Roxanne said. "An excellent compromise." Megamind replied. Minion came in with some coffee and breakfast for the couple. "Here you are sir and ma'am." Minion said.

"Minion. You don't have to call me ma'am." Roxanne said. "But I want to. I am practicing for when you and sir get married." Minion replied. Megamind smiled. "Alright, you excellent fish, you. Why don't you check for any crime on the screens? I will be there in a moment." Minion saluted and went on his way. Roxanne tried some of the breakfast. "Mmmm! Minion's a really good cook." she said. Megamind nodded. "I know. He tried to teach me a few times but it always ended up bad." Roxanne chuckled. "How so?" Megamind turned a little purple from blushing before saying "I lack patience so I would.... Use a heat gun to speed up the cooking process and everything would get burnt." The couple was silent before laughing their asses off.

"Oh my god! Did you even try to eat it?" Roxanne asked. "No! Minion wouldn't let me so he tried it. He said it tasted like a new species of edible rock!" Megamind said between his laughter. Roxanne snorted. "Poor guy." she said. Megamind nodded. "He said he wanted the five minutes of his life back." he laughed. "I heard that and it was six minutes! That is 3/4 of the hell that burnt bread put me through! Be thankful it wasn't 666 times or I would've actually thought I was in actual Hell!" Minion called out, making the couple laugh harder. "Are you even sorry for traumatizing me, sir?" Minion asked in an annoyed tone. "After my laughing fit I will be!" Megamind replied. "I can't breathe!" Roxanne wheezed from laughter. Minion just groaned from embarrassment as Megamind laughed so hard he fell out of his chair.

(Start Music at this point.)

At the prison Hal waited for the Warden to bring his food for breakfast. He wasn't allowed a knife without supervision because it was well... Prison. The Warden walked in with his tray. "Good morning officer. So remind me how many life sentences I have?" Hal asked innocently. "89 life sentences. All the time in the world to think about what you did." the Warden replied. Hal didn't want the Warden to leave just yet... But then again the Warden couldn't leave without his tray and its utensils. "So you watched the news last night?" Hal asked. The Warden nodded. "Yep and all I have to say is I'm glad he made a change for himself before asking her to marry him."

The comment made Hal's blood boil but he kept his mouth shut. He clenched the bench he was sitting on and noticed he caused a dent in it. He grinned. He found a way out. When the Warden took his tray and turned around, Hal attacked. He put the Warden in an armlock, grabbed the knife from the tray, and stabbed the Warden in the stomach. He then ran out of his cell, slashing and stabbing anyone in his path, including other prisoners. He was so angry. So furious..... And he loved every second of it. It was like he was Tighten again. He NEEDED to be Tighten again. He NEEDED revenge. He ran out of the prison, covered in blood. Hal grinned. He knew Megamind put the serum to give people Metro Mans powers in the museum along with his "superhero" suit. He just needed to break in and get it.

The Warden was bleeding out but thankfully it wasn't fatal enough to kill him. He pressed a button in his office. It was a button with a M on it. Megamind made it for him in case he needed backup or to call him for a simple chat. The computer screen on his desk showed Megamind. "Well, 'ollo there-! Warden? What happened?" Megamind said in shock. "We were attacked. A prisoner escaped. Hal Stewart." the Warden said weakly. Megaminds eyes widened when he saw blood seeping from the Wardens shirt. "I'll be right there. Keep pressure on that wound." Megamind said and then turned the screen off.

Roxanne was talking to Minion when Megamind came into the room. "Roxanne, call an ambulance for Metro City Prison. Minion, once she does that, you have to take her to the back-up lair and hide. Do not come out unless I tell you to." Megamind said. "What's going on?" Roxanne asked. "Hal is back and I have to bring him back to the prison. He just attacked staff and prisoners during his escape. The first person he will come after is you. Roxy, I love you. Stay safe." Megamind then kissed Roxanne before getting on his motorcycle and heading to the prison that he once called home. Roxanne watched Megamind leave before calling the ambulance as he requested. Minion packed some of Roxanne's stuff as sometimes she would stay over at the lair after a date with Megamind. Once the ambulance was called, Minion got Roxanne in the invisible car and drove to the back-up lair.

Hal finally made it to the Megamind museum. It wasn't too far away that he couldn't take a run to it. He needed the exercise anyway. The museum was closed today so he could easily sneak in. Today was just his lucky day. The museum was still watched by guards but Hal easily disposed of them. His rage made him stronger, faster even. It was a terrifying sight. He looked like a mental patient who slaughtered an entire butcher shop. That was how much blood he spilt today. He didn't care though. He was reaching his goal. When Hal saw the gun beside his old Tighten suit, he grinned an evil, wide smirk. "Come to Papa...."
