Part 10

I really thought that telling Dylan would make most things better but if anything I think I made it worse.

So now I'm standing here at the train station with Dylan because he insisted on coming along to pick up Holden. Apparently it was apart of his alpha duties or what not. He just didn't want me alone with Holden. Eye roll.

Then I saw Holden running down smiling when he sees me but he slows down and his smile dropped a little when he saw Dylan standing behind him.

I went to run to him but was caught by Dylan's arms. I looked up at him and glared.

"Dylan let me go" he but his lip. I could tell he really didn't want to. But slowly his arms very hesitantly let go off me and I sprinted towards Holden not wanting to have Dylan change his mind.

When I got to him he pulled me in a giant hug.

"Connor...hi" he said breathlessly.

"Hi Holden"

Then I was ripped from his arms and into my mates.

"Ah hello Dylan. And what an honor to have the alpha come pick lousy old me up at the airport" he said sounding very sarcastic. "I see your still the annoying boy from years ago."

I cracked a small smile.
Dylan gritted his teeth. His arms still trapping me in them.

"Yeah and I see your still the annoying ass boy from years ago as well"

Holden snorted and rolled his eyes.

"Why is he even here Connor?"

Dylan looked at me and smirked.

"Oh so you didn't tell him yet did you" he looked back at Holden smiling. Which made Holden look confused.

I looked up at Dylan shaking my head at him.
"Don't" but I was to late.

"Connor here, is my mate" he said.

Holden froze. "What."

Dylan smirked "Connor.Is.My.Mate"

Holden looked at me shocked and questioning.
I blushed and turned away.

"Oh okay. Well whatever he's still my best friend and nothings gonna change that right Connor"

I looked back up at him and smiled.

"Never"

"Good" he said smirking back up at Dylan. I felt him shaking a little bit in annoyance using everything he could not to throttle him. "And by the way Dylan, Connor is technically not yours anyway, I don't see a mark".

"That's it you little..." Dylan let go of me to lunge at Holden.

"Guys stop it!" I yell, "where still in the damn airport and i am tired of you two already let's go back home guys. Now."

They both looked away sheepishly.

"Alright Connor" (Holden)

"Sorry" (Dylan)

"Good now please let's go"

Then the three of us walked to Dylan's car with Holden and his luggage and headed back to the pack.

"Alright so just drop us off at my house okay Dylan?"

His grip on the steering wheel tightened a little bit.

"Your house?" He asked.

I saw Holden smirk a little. Oh no I thought to myself.

"Yeah Dylan I'm staying with Connor. In his house. Maybe even a room..."

Dylan's eyes went wide looking between Holden and me.

I look at Holden and roll my eyes. "No idiot, your staying in the guest room, he's staying in the guest room Dylan"

Dylans form unclenched a little and he glared at Holden.

"Good" he said grabbing on to my hand still glaring at him. Holden rolls his eyes and looks away.

I don't know what I'm going to do with these two.

We ride the rest of the way in silence.

When we get to my house my mom is there to greet us.

"Holden! Hi sweetie how have you been?" She says as she goes in to give him a hug.

"Hi Mrs. Brooks"

"Oh look how grown up you are! And I really thought you were gonna be my sons mate. What a shame."

I blush. Oops I forgot to tell my mom about Dylan and I.

Holden smiled though.

"Oh I know what a shame it is. Seeing as I was his first kiss and everything" I heard Dylan growl.

"Holde-" I was stopped short because I was pulled into Dylan's arms

"Actually Mrs.Brooks I'm Connors mate" dylan said as he hugged me possessively. 

My mom looked surprised then flustered as she realized what she had said.

"Oh i'm sorry Alpha I didn't know" she said "someone didn't tell me" she looked pointedly at me.

I looked down sheepishly. "Sorry Ma"

"Well I'm glad I know now, and I'm very happy for you too"

"Why thank you Mrs.Brooks" he said his mad face gone replaced with a smile.

"Of course Alpha. Now then how about we get all of your stuff together Holden and put it in the guest room" she said clapping her hands together.

I turned to Dylan. "You don't have to stay and help if you don't want to."

"Phhhh like I'm gonna leave while he's still here"

I look at him in shock.

"Dylan you do know your gonna have to leave at some point right?"

He looked at me then looked away. I saw a slight blush on his cheeks.

"Of course I know that...but I just can't help but want to stay near you and not let Holden come anywhere near us. My wolf doesn't wasn't to let you out of our sight especially with him around"

I unconsciously step forward and take him in a hug.

"It's alright Dylan, but you really don't have to worry about us. We are just friends. Okay?"

When I look up I see that he looks shocked that I hugged him. Then his face softened.

"Thanks Connor"

"Of course your my mate" I chirped. Then I realized what I said and drew back my arms. I scratched the back of my head embarrassed.

Then he grabs in a big hug.

"Connor you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear you say that"

Then Holden comes back outside.

"Hey lovebirds you just gonna stand there or are you gonna help?"

"Were gonna help"

Then we spent the rest of the day we put Holdens things away then hung out for the rest of the day. Other then having to break up a few spare with Holden and Dylan. We had a very good night.
