The only thing she could hear was the sound of her heavy breathing in her ears. She'd pushed herself into the corner of the small room, her knees tightly tucked into her chest. She could feel the vibrations of the room moving through the floor as it was seemingly moving quickly towards the surface. She was in deep panic. She didn't remember anything. Nothing at all. Not her name. Not her age. Not her family, nor where she came from. The only thing she knew, was she was absolutely terrified. Suddenly, the room came to a stop and she felt her heart thumping against her ribs a she's stared at the ceiling where a strip of light made it's way across the middle. There were shadows and she imagined this is how she would die. All she had were the clothes on her back, and a piece of paper in her pocket, that she didn't dare look at, so she had nothing she could give to bargain for her life if it came to it. She stared curiously the roof as it was pulled back, revealing the sky. She looked at her with an unreadable expression.
"Are you alright?" The first guy asked.
"Does she look alright, shank?" Another asked. "Come on, Greenie, let's get you out of there." He offered, holding out his hand. The girl didn't move and found herself unable to look at them anymore and she squeezed her eyes shut.
"Oh you've got to be joking." A voice seethed.
"Slim it." Another argued. She heard someone drop down and crouch in front of her. "Hey." She opened her eyes when she felt a hand on her arm. For some reason, he looked eerily familiar to her, but she couldn't place him. "You know you can't stay in here forever. Are you gonna let me help you?" She nodded timidly, before allowing him to help her to her feet. The others helped her out of the small room. Around her were probably fifty other boys and she couldn't help but feel small. Behind them stood four huge concrete walls covered in moss and she wondered what was beyond them. Inside, however, it was like they had formed some sort of village. There were a few buildings, animals, crops and other things that she didn't really recognise. She only wished this was nothing but a bad dream.
"Do you have a name, then?" A younger looking boy asked. All she could do was shake her head. She saw an opening in the crowd of men, and took this as an opportunity to run. She got to he feel and sprinted towards an exit she could see in the huge stone walls. She didn't stop to look back, however heard panic that she'd actually get out of the gap. Suddenly, she ran into someone as they were jogging back in. He looked down at her with a strange smile as her breath was heavy.
"Welcome go the glade, Greenie."

"Don't come near me." She snarled, having found a large branch and she was now swinging it around, trying to keep everyone away.
"Just calm down!" One of them demanded.
"Stay away from me."
"You're getting on my nerves." The boy grabbed the other end of the stick, jolting her forward.
"Gally, that's enough." Another said, pulling him back a bit. "She's frightened and you're not really helping."
"I wanna go home." She whispered. A third boy, the one who helped her out of the box, took a step towards her, however stopped when he saw her flinch.
"Can I come over to you?" He asked. She thought for a minute, before nodding. "Could you- could you put down the branch?" She crouched down, placing the branch on the floor before straightening out again. He slowly approached her, until he was close enough he could put a hand on her. "My name is Thomas. You're alright. You're gonna be alright."
