Hermitcraft was a busy server with busy people. However, this never stopped anyone from getting into shenanigans.

Grian chuckled to himself as he placed the last piece of black concrete. He pulled out the map for the designated area he was building in and beamed at his work. The map, instead of being blue from the ocean, was now a poster that read "Mumbo for Mayor" on it in red letters. It was printed on a white background with a black moustache underneath the writing.

The blond quickly launched himself into the air as he flew back to his base. He skillfully navigated his way through the jungle until he reached his hobbit hole. He pulled out a cartographer table and started to make copies of his poster. Mumbo was going to love this.

After assembling a large stack of posters, Grian grabbed some item frames from his growing chest monster and made the journey back to the shopping district. It wasn't long before Mumbo for Mayor signs started to pop up in popular places around the server.

It wasn't long before more people joined in the fun. Doc had interest but had too much to do already, Stress ran, False ran, Scar ran, Mumbo ran (reluctantly), and Joe ran for Dogcatcher. They all had fun with the mayoral race but in the end, Scar had won.

Grian didn't think too much of it. He caused shenanigans, people played along, and then it ended. Just like all the other times he had done something. That was the fun of Hermitcraft.

The blond landed softly in front of his hobbit hole. He turned around to face his villager...place. and sighed as he stared at the empty space. Villagers didn't have much code and weren't sentient which made them difficult to work which is why Grian never wanted to get into the villager business. However, the ability of being able to get crazy amounts of items from them out weighed the effort, time, and work. Mostly.

Grian got some rails, minecarts, and a furnace and stuffed them into his inventory. The inventory was a weird place. It was there...but also not there. To access it, you pressed a button on the side of your comm that made a digital screen pop up in front of you. You can pick something up and manually put it in by tapping the object against the screen or you can throw a group of items on the ground in front of the screen, which will automatically pick them up. To drop something out of the nonexistent space you double tapped the screen.

He grabbed some rails and held them close to his chest as he started to place them down. He went over hills, weaved between the tall jungle trees, and built across small lakes. As the sun set over the horizon, Grian had made it to the spruce village. The blond wiped his brow as he looked at the sky, a beautiful display of the orange to purple as the sun kept getting closer to the ground.

Desperately, wanting to get home before dark, shoved two villagers into the closet house and blocked the door with dirt. Grian decided against flying this time and followed the rails back to his starter base. He heard the low groaning of zombies, the rattling bones of skeletons, and the occasional sound of quiet feet walking, or rather, creeping on the grass.

By the time he arrived home he was ready to collapse into bed. His back ached from how long he spent bent over placing rails. As much as the hermit would've liked to just hit the hay and sleep, he decided it would be a good idea to have a warm bath. Grian was sweaty and gross from working in the humid jungle and everything hurt from the work he had done and he was hoping that the water and bubbles would fix all of his problems.

He dragged himself over to the bathroom that was connected to his bedroom. The bath was made of simple quartz and was sunken into the ground. He gathered up different soaps, mostly handmade from Stress, and set them at the edge of the bathtub. As a special treat, he added a regeneration potion as a water stream slowly filled up the tub.

In order to automatically get water into the tub, Grian had rather poorly wired a button to a line of redstone dust that led to a dispenser filled with water. The water from the dispenser flowed over magma blocks to warm it up before it flowed into the tub.

Bam, bathtub.

Grian set a folded towel down near the bathtub before he slid off his clothing and threw those into a hamper that sat in the corner. He slowly slipped into the water, letting out a sigh as the warm water of the tub relaxed all of his muscles. After a while of just relaxing, Grian picked up a bar of soap from Stress that she called "Sweet Berry Spice". It was his personal favorite.

After drying off from his bath, Grian changed into a fresh set of night clothes and buried himself in blankets. It was a warm night in the jungle but he enjoyed the soft texture of them. Tomorrow, the villagers should be all set up. Hopefully.
