CHAPTER 7

~~Elwin POV. ~~

I was really scared when Fitz talked to me. I was thinking what had happen or Sophie was hurt but couldn't understand why he needed energy boosters and that so many which have him to suffer a really bad hangover also why he needed Tiegan so late at night.

Well anyways I hailed him told him come at my place and he came and then I told him what Fitz told me and then we left for Everglen

At the gate I saw Flori holding something in her hands. I was about to knock on the door when Flori stopped me and told that Fitz said to go via tree roots. I was really confused now.

A few minutes later Sandor arrived with a nervous looking Grady and Edeline.

After they arrived, Flori started humming a song and a tunnel opened and we both headed in the tunnel and reached in the garden.

~~Fitz POV. ~~

I tried by best to manipulate Sophie's dream but I also was not able to do it much nicely on her parent's part because I didn't know what to do and also I wished Elwin would come fast because manipulating was consuming a lot of energy.

Soon I head a voice knew that they had arrived. I transmitted to Flori to lead everyone in my room.

As soon as they came in everyone was shocked to see Sophie sitting on my lap and hugging me and sleeping.

"Elwin fast give a booster so I can transmit to everyone" I said

Elwin gave me elixir and I drank it and made a separate connection and included everyone in the conversion except Sophie

What is happening here and why is Sophie like this Grady his voice was filled with some anger

In simple words she was having a nightmare during the sleepover so I bought her here but while I was bringing her here she fell asleep in my arms. When I was about to set her down on the bed she came on my lap and started crying and muttering in a language which I think was English. I checked in with Sandor that what happens when she normally has nightmares. What he told was completely different so I checked her dreams and it seems that she is reliving her human memories an-

Wait what do you mean by reliving memories? Tiegan asked

Honestly I don't know. Being her cognate, I have seen her past memories and her same memories are in her dream and whatever happens she reacts to dream in real life.

Now why do you need us. Edeline asked pointing towards Grady.

While I was checking her dreams I found out that I can manipulate what other people say or think in her dreams and there are some parts where Sophie talks to her human parents and sometimes she is very much hurt by what they say. So, I need you both to tell me what you would tell her in those parts.

Elwin give me one more of those elixir.

Before I give you answer my question. Why do you need these elixirs? And you know their side effects right. Elwin asked

Ok the thing is that keeping everyone in loop of the dream and making a separate connection for us so that Sophie cant hear what we saying and manipulating the dream consumes a lot of energy so need them and for the side effects I asked Flori for gnomes' hangover cure.

So you can also make a separate connection like Sophie Tiegan said or asked I don't know

Yes I can make two connections and Sophie I don't how many can she make. Last she made 5 connections for 10 minutes and her energy was horribly drained
