As soon as we reached Havenfield, we saw all the councilors leaving. So, councilor Terik and Bronte also left.

After saying goodbyes to the councilors, me and Fitz entered the living room of my house. As soon as we entered Edeline and Della greeted us with a large hug and congratulated us on our success.

"Well congratulations on penetrating Prentice's mind" said Grady

After congratulating us Alden asked "Ok just asking if you completed the ceremony for cognate does this mean you bo-"

"yes, yes you are correct" Fitz interrupted looking a bit nervous

With this Alden smiled and hugged us and mouthed 'good luck' and left saying that he has some important work to do.

Fitz was about to leave when the worst thing happened and Grady yelled and told Fitz to wait.

Seems like he connected the dots. I transmitted to Fitz

"Wait. In the ceremony you have to take vows regarding trust and loyalty and for the final part you hav-" said Grady with his voice increasing with each word

"Yes. We both confessed to each other and its better if you see the last part." I said

By then Edeline had come to living room with Della carrying a plate of ripplepuffs but as soon as she hear me she dropped the plate and came running towards me and hugged me and said with tears in her eyes " oh my god I am so happy for you and finally you both came to know each other's feelings."

By then Fitz had shown Grady his memory and he was nodding his head in agreement and he informed Della about what was going on.

She also hugged us and then she and Fitz left.

"looks like we don't need have all the boy talk because what you did was good but don't do anything stupid at the sleepover." Said Grady (A/N yea yea I know it is unlike Grady but sometimes things also change right?)

"how do you know about the sleepover at Everglen and how are you so sure that I will be going??" I asked

"Well for the first question we may or may not have checked your imparter texts from Biana" Edeline said and gave a apologetic look

"and to your second question, it is obvious after today's incident." Said Grady.

"OK OK I guess I have to start packing" I said

I was about to start packing when I remembered my horrible taste in fashion. I was about to call Edeline to help when she came to my room and said that there is some trouble with Verdi and Grady needed help. She also said that she would pack for me.

I thanked her and went to help Grady

After half an hour I went to my room to clean up and realized I was late so I brushed feathers and ran to the leapmaster and shouted Everglen and then realized I forgot my bag. I transmitted to Edeline and asked her to conjure my bag. Soon my bag was in my hands when the gates opened and I was greeted with all my friends and then we went to the guest room.
