IT WAS never Austin's intentions to ruin his relationship with Charlotte. He was head over heels in love with the girl, but he somehow, someway, let her go.
Austin Moon wanted the life of a pop star. World tours. Sold out CDs. Crowds calling his name. Austin wanted nothing more but to be seen and know by people all over the world.
Charlotte Taylor always supported Austin's dreams. Always, but that's not the life she wanted. Austin wanted Charlotte to do any and everything with her. It could've been singing songs with him, writing a song with him (something he didn't do often), or just bang on the drums with him. Austin wanted to do everything with Charlotte.
She didn't find it an issue at all. She liked doing everything with him. Austin just didn't understand that singing, dancing, etc. was just a hobby for her.
Austin wanted a career. Charlotte wanted to be happy for his career. Austin didn't seem to get that though.
So, Charlotte pushed herself. She broke up with Austin. She hated to do it, but she had to.
Austin knew he messed up. He really, truly loved Charlotte. His parents always told Austin he was too young to understand what love was, but trust, Austin Monica Moon knew how he felt about Charlotte.
